We fond this hotel by any hazard because we had big problems with the Hotel Acta Mimic. And the staff at this hotel did everything to help us out of our situation, extremely helpful, extremely friendly. The location was perfect for us: very close to the Ramblas (3 Min. walk) and just a short stroll to the harbour bus (for...

We really appreciate your comment. We agree with you about the hotel location, very central and next to Las Ramblas, where you have the chance...

My husband and I checked into this hotel following a cruise from the United States. Our room was not ready as it was early in the morning. We chose to wait in the lobby as my husband was not feeling well. We got into our room on the 6th floor about 2:00. The room was basic and very yellow. The...

Centrally located within easy walking of main tourist areas and also close to the port, beach (15 mins walk) and Passeig de Gracia which has a more upmarket range of shops. The hotel itself does exactly what it say on the tin, it's a retro type feel with simple touches that elevate above your average, mid range tourist hotel. The...

The hotel is right next to Drassles metro and has very good access to most of the sites. It's very next to Las rambles and walkable by foot. You can also walk to Le Barceloneta beach by foot in 20-25 mins. So location is perfect. We stayed in Room 114 which is a very standard twin. The room is decently...

We chose this hotel because of its location, close to the Ramblas and the cruise terminal, as well as the kitchenette in the room. However, there was no pots and pans provided. There were only a kettle, two cups and two forks. We asked the front desk but they never took care of our request. So we only used the...

Hi from chic&basic Ramblas! On behalf of all the staff of the hotel, thanks a lot for taking the time to write about us. As you mentioned, the hotel is located in town, very close to Las Ramblas, which is one of the most famous avenues. This is a great location on the edge of Las Ramblas. The hotel is steps from the Metro station and the Columbus statue, and easy walk to almost anywhere! Clean hotel, the rooms are fairly small but perfectly adequate. Very smartly decorated and modern! I would stay there again!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights for our wedding anniversary. The hotel is very close to the end of Las Ramblas (literally 1 minute walk) and very close to the port (3 minutes walk). Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
