The review says it all but bear in mind the rooms are very small, it's location is city centre so traffic noise is constant. It is however very clean with a good kitchen/ relaxing area. At its price it's great for a brief stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hostal Q. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a great location, just a few minutes walk to La Rambla. Shower was fantasic. No complaints whatsoever

+Good location (10 steps to metro station-it is critual in Barcelona), 24h staff member in reservation desk, you can easily reach hotel with Aerobus from airport then with 5min walk -Windows cannot be opened, airconditions do not work for warming (rooms are a bit cold at nights), my room is not ready when I reach at hotel at 3pm

We are a couple who travel regularly. We spend little time in our hotel room so care most about the location of our accommodation above anything else. Hostal Q definitely ticked this box. The metro station, Urquinaona, was literally outside the front door. There are several bakery/coffee places on the square outside where you can grab breakfast. There is a...

Our arrival started with being picked up by a representative from Hostal Q. They moved us to an apartment. We assumed that they had over booked the hotel because of a convention in town, In turned out that we could not have been happy with the apartment and the location.

Stayed here for my hen do with 12 other women. Was very impressed with how clean the rooms were. The kitchen communal areas have various vending machines and tea and coffee available, also very clean. Very functional little hostel, very small but the location of the place can't be beaten. It's right next to a tube station, very easy to...

My partner and I were looking for a budget hotel as close to Plaza de Catalunya as possible (Most sights are within walking distance of here, and it is also where the airport bus and the tourist sightseeing buses leave from. We came across the Hostal Q as reviews were very positive and made a booking. Well, it was superb....

This is a small hotel within 5 minutes walk of the city. It is excellent for a few nights with polite and efficient staff and a small kitchen to make drinks and bring your own food in. Excellent wi fi facilities

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
