I stayed at this hotel as part of a package and it is not a place I would have chosen myself. It isn't really convenient for anywhere you're likely to want to go in the city. There are two metro stations in the vicinity but they are both quite a walk away. I used buses where I could. My room...

We stayed here with family room only no breakfast but this wasn't a problem as there were two supermarkets next door and few cafes in the opposite direction. The room was quite compact and didn't have a kettle or tea but we could get cups of hot water from the bar and make tea in our rooms. The hotel staff...

The safes in some of the rooms require you to rent a key and lock. If you are unlucky to be in room 405 do not expect to siesta. They are renovating the apartment block next door with pneumatic drills. which can go on till 9-0pm.The manager is very obliging and gave us a bottle of wine as compensation. The...

I stayed here recently while on a food and wine tour. This was our first hotel. My room was a typical European room with 2 twin beds. The room was a decent size which included a safe and a very good size bathroom. Keep in mind that you need a room key to turn the power on including the AC....

Good location and pleasant rooms etc. Probably some might consider it dated but it did the job comfortably well. Staff were very helpful, especially as I had big problems trying to connect WiFi. They have adopted a system of you accessing it through an email to your personal account. However I couldn't remember my account password as it stays on...

Location is perfect, there are shops, foodplace, el-carte ingles, walking space etc. The room was small. There was no lift connectivity in that floor, most probably it was 2nd or 3rd floor, i had to carry my baggage at least two stairs by myself. There was nobody to help me. The entrance was narrow and suffocating. Wi-fi was free. Sanitary...

The hotel is handy for the metro at the Diagonal but feels like a somewhat impersonal businessman's hotel. Totally lacking in atmosphere in the dining room for example. The breakfast room appeared to be in the charge of a head waiter with the expression of a man not wishing to be there, certainly no friendly smile. The bedroom was clean...

We stayed here for three nights and it is a pleasant hotel. The room was clean, small but adequate, as not much time spent in it. The breakfast was nice but they could do with turning on the air conditioning as it got very warm. The public areas are small, as is the bar which closed at 11! but plenty...

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
