Myself and my partner (in our late 20s) stayed here for one week at the start of September. We were looking for a holiday which was a combination of a chill out beach holiday and a busy city break and we managed to crack it with Barcelona. We decided it was best to get a hotel next to the beach...

I stayed two nights at this hotel for business. The room was huge with a reasonable living room and two bathrooms, very clean and comfortable bed. The breakfast and meals are very good. Very good price overall. The only inconvenience is that it is a bit far from the center, difficult parking area but hotel has own parking at 11...

The location is good, very close to the beach although quite far from downtown. The neighbourhood is quiet , much less crowded ,nice beach bars and close to CCIB. It was clean , the room was not spacious but it was decent. Hotel staff was helpful ,except one guy in the hotel bar .Disadvantages that made a major impact on my...

Perfect location for beach&city vacation. We asked for room for two with extra bed for kid - and got the room with separate bedroom and living room and 2 separate bathrooms and balcony with a sea view. Unbeatable. Neighbourhood is nice and residential - local cafes, shops not spoiled by tourists, kids on playgrounds etc - so you can feel...

Great hotel. Bus stop is on the main road and takes you into the centre of Barcelona, metro a bit of a walk (~800m). Rooms clean, large, nice bathroom! We paid for parking but you can find on the street and save yourself the daily parking charge of 11euro (which was reasonable compared to other places).

this hotel is nice and new. good rooms, helpful staff (a part from the waiter in the morning breakfast..), quite good breakfast. it is in a very quiet neighborhood not so near to the centre, but public transportation in barcelona is good, so the position could be not a problem for you. I recommend it for business, and for the...

We paid £325 for flights and two nights stay in total for two people via expedia.co.uk. So to be honest for that price being so fantastically cheap i didnt know what to expect. Turns out that the hotel was basic, modern, clean and very nice-everything you need for a city break. After all if you are on a city break...

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast. However to my mind the rooms are small for a 4 star. Admittedly there is a balcony for the front of hotel bedrooms but in November not sunny after midday. Although near the beach the surrounding area is very quiet with little of interest. Bus No 41 stops nearby and takes...

The hotel is quite pleasant but is devoid of atmosphere. My wife and I walked from the metro-about half a mile. On the way a youth tried to grab my wife's backpack-luckily he failed but the experience was very unpleasant. The wonderful reception staff told us Barcelona is a very dangerous city but they kindly upgraded us to a suite. The...

Staying in Poblenou

Neighbourhood Profile
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
