Excellent location across from Cathedral a few metres off a main square in Gothic Quater of Barcelona. La Rambla is only a short walk away up interesting side streets. Bus Turistic stop & taxis within 50 metres, metro stop within 200 metres. Great helpful staff...More
We stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it. The desk clerk told us that we were in the very best location in Barcelona when we checked in and after three days we agreed. The hotel is an easy walk to Placa Catalunya, which...More
This hotel is truly within walking distance to Plaza Catalunya and Jaume metro stations, which made it extremely easy to get anywhere else in the city. It is almost directly behind Snata Creu, which is nice. Our room faced the street and it wasn't noisy...More
This hotel is a great value. We paid 70 euro for a room with twin beds - what a deal! The location is amazing - it's an easy walk to all the sights, to the Ramblas, and to the main square. I would not recommend...More
There wasn't much wrong with this hotel for me and my family (wife and two and a half year old son) except that it was a little noisy of a night.

With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local
musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.

We arrived to Barcelona Airport and took a taxi to the hotel. I found the taxis to be relatively inexpensive and I took them other times around the city. The metro is also great once we got our bearings but you do have a further walk (from the Placa de Catalunya)- we got a 10 trip card but we were there for a week and you can use it on the buses too. One card can be used for multiple people.
