Stayed for 3 nights from 9 to 12 March 2010. Hotel is very central, close to La Rambla, Cathedral and Gothic Area. Jaume Metro Station about 2 minutes away. The room I was allocated was no 413. There was a terrible smell of sewage in the room. I closed the window, thinking it was coming from outside. However, on my...

I stayed in the Rialto hotel at the end of February 2010 for 4 nights with my partner as a short break to explore Barcelona. The hotel is perfectly located to explore the city, being very close to the main Ramblas, meaning you can access many restaurants and sights easily. We were staying in a room on the fifth floor,...

Stayed for 5 nights while exploring Barcelona. Had a standard double room that looked out on a courtyard that hotel seemed to surround. Weather very cold during our stay but room's heating system kept us cosy. Bathroom was excellent, modern with great shower. Breakfast was a buffet - fruit, cold meat. cheese, yoghurt, cereal, bread rolls, toast, hot bacon, spicy...

Just of La Rambla and near the old part of Barcelona, it is in a great location. The room wasn't the best I've ever stayed in, being very small, but the bathroom and shower were very good (even though you had to let the shower run for a good 10 minutes before it got hot), and the bed was comfortable....

I was a little apprehensive about staying in this hotel after reading some of the currrent reviews, but I have to say I was pleasently surprised. This hotel was reasonably priced for two people sharing a room, with a very central location, having everything in walking distance. The room was small, but we only use it to sleep in, the...

The xmas ligts in Barcelona are among the best in the world and well worth a look. The hotel is only 15 mins walk to the port area and the same to plaza catalunia. All...

We stayed at this hotel from the 24-27 of December. The first room they gave us was so dirty you could see a thick layer of dust on the sofa. The smell was stuffy and unbearable. We requested a different room. The housecleaning manager came upstairs to our room, only to tell us that we were too demanding. The second...
