Very very good location just off the Ramblas. 5/10 mins walk to the local metro stations. We have a triple room as we're travelling with our young son. Room is big and clean, no tea or coffee making facilities and no wardrobes, just an open small hanging space which is fine for us. Bathroom is big enough, clean and has...

Little nice rooms with everything you need like a shower and a soft bed. TV is a bit old (4:3 format) and the Internet sometimes didn't work. Breakfast was included and perfect. The staff was always friendly. Price and service is in a marvelous area.

The hotel is located just off of Las Ramblas, the major pedestrian thoroughfare in Barcelona. It is within easy walking distance of places to catch tours to anywhere you want to go and the staff were very helpful in giving directions and suggestions. A very good breakfast buffet as well.

Small but very nice room. The best breakfast ever had in hotels. Location is perfect, 60 meters from La Rambla street. Metro station Liceu is very close. Placa Catalunya only 300m away. We had excellent time in this hotel.

Top location at 100 yards from the Ramblas and the metro, in a quiet street with some good restaurants at the same side of the street. Nice, modern, clean hotel with excellent breakfast. Friendly, young staff.

Value for money and staff very helpful. A/C should be under room occupancy control not the reception as we wanted our room cooler. Can be a bit noisy but in a fabulous position. Laundry very cheap to be done in hotel

For 200+ EUR per night in a double room, one would expect better service, specially at the breakfast. I had to ask waiter to refill fruits while the plates were empty for several minutes. Room 507 is very badly insulated. You can hear all noise from the bathrooms of the two adjacent rooms. This was my 4th stay at this...

Great mid-range hotel. + Very central, la Rambla a minute's walk away with supermarket nearby. + Reasonable sized rooms considering cost/location + Decent breakfast with a good time range (7.30 - 11) + Friendly helpful staff at reception. + Nice roof terrace, but closes at 9pm - Bit noisy at night, had to keep windows closed due to noise levels...

A brilliant modern hotel and it was one of the best. Brilliant clean rooms and my room had a lovely balcony from my room overlooking the most popular street in Barcelona. The las ramblas. Hotel receptionists are very helpful and organised trips for us to go to camp boy .

Location - 150 metres from La Rambla - superb and near Plaça de Catalunya (Airport bus terminates there and so central. but don't make our mistake of thinking there was a Metro station - it was a rail terminus). Hotel very clean with excellent breakfast. Bathroom great although bit odd having sink outside the door of the shower, toilet and...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
