Very good choice, excellent cost-benefit. Great location! Walkable distance from the main attractions and very close to a subway station. We got a room in the back, with veranda, the room was of a good size, considering the European standards, good service, good bathroom. Staff quite helpful. Bottom line: good cost benefit, well worth the money.

Great hotel for the price. We stayed during a busy weekend and were able to get a reasonable rate for two nights. The room exceeded our expectations for the price. Laminate floors, comfy bed, large and quiet room. The showers have great water pressure and are very modern. The mini bar is a plus and has splits of cava for...

I chose this hotel based on previous reviews, the location and price. Having visited Barcelona multiple times before, I was eager to choose a decent hotel in the right location. First impressions were not good - the hotel receptionist (male) was abrupt and borderline rude. In my opinion, there is no need for such bad manners. Despite this, I was...

A clean modern hotel with a small roof-top pool which would have been great in summer.Black and white striped decor---basic amenities but adequate---nice duvets! Situated within walking distance of Sagrada Familia and also Casa Bahia and near to Gerona Metro station----good breakfast and pleasant staff----overall an enjoyable place to stay for a short break.

A very enjoyable stay. This hotel is in a great location (approximately a 20 minute walk from La Rambla), it has very good amenities, was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it. I am unable to comment on the food as we were staying on a room only...

Just back from couple nights here in a superior room which was rear facing so was very quiet. The view was of the rear courtyard to residential properties so was not great but was nice having option to sit out for a coffee. The rooms were fairly compact like most hotels in the city centre I've stayed in here, but...

Having read other reviews on Tripadvisor I felt confident in booking this hotel. I made my reservation 8 months prior to travel on the hotel's online booking system which was straightforward and offered the best online rate. A few days prior to travel I recieved an email from the hotel to remind me of my stay, which was a nice...

The location of the hotel is excellent; close to everything but not in the middle of it. It is a noisy city but we never heard any noise in our interior room (room 707). We walked mostly but the metro station in close by, as are restaurants, bars, and tourist sites. You can even find a Starbucks (on the way...

This was my first time in Barcelona and I thought this hotel was wonderful. As always, it depends what you are looking for in a location, but I liked being a 10 - 15 minute walk away from La Ramblas, Segrada, and central to transportation options. There are many places to eat and a half block away is an indoor...

A very stylish boutique hotel, within a 15 minute walk to the top of La Ramblas. Our room was modern and comfy, also quiet as we asked for an inner room. Room service available around the clock, and attentive boutique service!

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
