We recently stayed at this wonderful property during a city break to Barcelona. The location is perfect....away from the crowds, but easy to get to the centre (and easy to get to from the airport)! The staff are all really lovely and helpful, and the...More
A lovely small luxury hotel that offers great service , great food and accommodation.

The location, far from the tourist tracks, in the upmarket quarter, but with good connection by metro to the city centre, is the unique and distinctive element. To the train station is only 5 min walking and then 10 min to reach The Plaza Cataluna....More
I was recommended to stay here by a colleague. I can see why. With a superior room with balcony, it feels like a warm and comfortable home away from home. Service is great, everything is in impeccable order, and the furnishings are beautiful. And the...More
We stayed at Primero Primera earlier this week, but only for a single night in transit. As made clear, the hotel is somewhat removed from the centre of Barcelona, but that is no bad thing.

We had a large one bedroom apartment on the second floor. The bathroom had a solid door, not a glass partition. The bathroom was very spacious and nice, with separate areas for the tub and the shower. Plenty of privacy. I don't recall the exact amount we pain per night but it was more than 300 euros, but not a lot more as I recall, and we thought it was a great value. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I hope we get to go back again some day.
We used the public airport shuttle bus called the Aerobús. I believe it was around 5 euro each way. Takes you to the city center, from there, we rode the metro rail. You can buy a multi ride pass for 10 euro.

If you have lots of luggage and want an easy option, then a taxi would be best. This will probably take about15 minutes and can be a good way to see some of the city. However, it is really easy to get to the hotel by metro and that is how we did it. It will also be cheaper and not much different timewise. From Estacio Sants, go to Diagonal metro and then Les Tres Torres. The hotel is a couple of minutes walk away and it is a good way to orient yourself. If you are going to be in Barcelona for a couple of days then I would suggest getting a metro pass as a cost effective way of getting around - if you are doing more than 5 metro trips, it is certainly better value having a pass than paying separately. Enjoy Barcelona.
