Stayed here for 4 nights in April (arrived Sunday and left on Thursday). I was really impressed for the price we paid, the room was basic but well decorated and clean. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and towels are provided. Rooms also have hairdryers and small soap/shampoo etc. are provided too. The location of the hotel is ideal,...

This hotel was clean, centrally located on Las Ramblas. The breakfast was typical of European fare. I was very satisfied with the stay. I must caution that being located on Las Ramblas it can be very busy outside all night long. This didn't bother me because I was up 30 hours before checking in with overnight flight and all day...

This hotel is in the perfect location! Right on Las Ramblas and directly in front of a metro station. It also backs up into the Gothic Quarter so walking to many of the attractions was so easy. For those sites a little further, taxi's are constantly driving by. This hotel is fantastic and the staff helped us get around and...

The cool is half way down las Ramblas which makes it a great place to stay. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit. Very nice breakfast buffet and a helpful front desk. The room was on the small side but fine for the little amount of time we spent there. Room 113 did get a lot of...

The hotel itself is ok. Cleaned daily, breakfast served well, personell very nice, location very good. Beach and shopping centers are near, but... beds are terrible, we asked for a double bed-got two singles, but they are not stable at all, bedding is poor, it was quite cold at night, needed to ask for extra blanket. We could also hear...

It was June 2015. Went to MotoGP and a city break. Fab but room very very small. Location perfect. Noise didn't bother us. Our room opened out onto street. Las ramblas is amazing great buzz. Food gorgeous, market on las ramblas a must see. Very close to beaches and shopping centre. Highly recommend

Great location in the heart of Las Ramblas, and right off the Liceu train stop. If you are facing the street you will have noise levels of drunk passers-byers until wee hours of the night. Worth it for the convenient location in my opinion. The hotel is no frill but clean and people are friendly. No safe in the room,...

Older hotel, very well maintained and perfect location for walking, shopping, et al. Wonderful staff, especially Pablo, on the desk at night, whoo gave us great tips and information: Extremely friendly and helpful, this being our first time in Barcelona. Nice top floor deck and great breakfast at a good price (add it to your room bill when you check...

This is not a place you stay at for a hotel experience. It is simply a clean comfortable place smack dab in the center of La Ramblas. The rooms are on the small side, but certainly adequate. There is an elevator, but some floors have various levels which could cause you to still have some stairs to negotiate. We found...

Staying in La Rambla

Neighbourhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
