La Terrassa offers exactly what you can expect. Good quality beds a shower and a balcony. It is however quite noisy outside as well as inside. You can hear the drains and waterpipes very well. The staff is friendly though
The location was absolutely fantastic, just off la rambla (enough to be really close, but far enough away to be quiet!) Staff were incredibly helpful and spoke so many languages including French, Spanish and English. The room and bathroom were both really clean - we...More
It is located in the old area and therefore the streets are a bit dirty and smelly (the whole area is) with lots of graffiti (like all of Barcelona and what we have seen of Spain), with all sorts of characters getting home just as...More
Central, friendly, clean, quiet, compact. It was a good price and all we needed. Close to market, the port, La Rambla and old gothic area. Very close to metro.
The street is quiet, not much traffic.

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
