We stayed here for 5 nights, it is in the perfect location to explore Barcelona, just 2 minutes from the metro station, lots of shops, cafe and restaurants nearby. The room was basic but ok for what we needed, it had a roof fan, blackout blinds, tv and private bathroom. Very noisy at night, we had to buy earplugs, noise...

Let's say it clearly from the very start: if you love luxury hotel this one is NOT for you. It is a very essential and spartan hotel that may be ok if you are a teenager or an older guy who can give up frills and cut to the chase. For a romantic holiday, nah, I wouldn't recommend it at...

Location is top notch, staff are friendly and efficient, rooms are clean if slightly small. Only real problem was minuscule shower (and with a 6 foot 3 boyfriend there was a lot of swearing in the bathroom in the morning) but small price to pay for amazing location in Barri Gothic. Surrounded by incredible sights, sounds and bars! Safe deposit...

We actually booked through Hotel Annex but it is the same as Hotel Rey Don Jaime. We arrived to a small, hot, and unattractive reception area. The front desk employee that greeted us was confused and unfriendly. Behind her sat unorganized papers and a giant can of roach spray. She insisted that at every time we left the building, we...

On arrival I read from my mobile phone our reservation number and the guy, with a full mouth of food, confirm our names. He that asked us for a printout of the reservation. I apologize and told him we did not print the it out. He very aggressively told us he need it and we must go and get it...

We booked 3 rooms. They were different. One was really tiny and in a bad condition but therefore it was not noisy because the Windows weren't on the street side. The other two were in a better condition and had Windows to the street side. Nice view but noisy. If you're lucky you'll see a kakerlake(sorry don't know the right...

Great location and very modern, clean, quite rooms. Only downsides were bed was not too comfortable and room was very hot. There was a note not to adjust a/c and leave it at 20 degrees, but it felt a lot hotter in room.

This hotel is well located with Las Rambla, parks, the beach cathedral all within a relatively short walking distance. Public transport is very accessible with a metro stop less than a minutes walk away and the areo bus 10-15mins north. Our room was basic but clean, with an ensuite that served its purpose without complaint. We were positioned on the...
