I was in Barcelona for a weekend and got a great day on this hotel! Literally under $60 a night which is a miracle in Europe! It's about 15 mins from the city center but well worth the drive. The hotel is situated on top of a mountain overlooking the city and the beach. Upon checking in the staff wasn't...

Considering this hotel was 1* our expectations were rather low. However it was definitely not as bad as I had been expecting. Staying in a 3 bed room, it was quite small, with only the beds, side table and small desk in the room, and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom had a good shower and bath, however with no plug....

We had four stars hotel last time in Barcelona and it really was not four stars in my opinion. Thats why we booked now one star place. We did not expect nothing. It was positive suprise. There was everything what you need if you just are looking place to sleep. Of course nothing was really good, but it was fine...

Can't really fault this hotel, fabulous location, clean tidy rooms, and good value for money. We had a room with a little balcony which was lovely for a view into the streets. Only negative was the noise from the streets however anywhere in the city you would probably get this, didn't hinder sleep though.

With 1* Rey don Jamie is never going to amaze but the hotel is clean and comfortable and in a great location to explore the city. I am not sure I was totally convinced by the security of the rooms but there were no problems when we stayed. The entrance is security controlled giving the hotel a but of extra...

Was a bit expensive for the quality. Paid 90 euros for one night even tho all the websites said it was 60 euros, hence why we booked it. Quite a surprise when they handed us the receipt for 90 some euros and asked to sign. The rooms were OK. Had potential but they didn't seem to know what to do...

Me & my friend stayed here for 2 nights whilst sightseeing in Barcelona. The room is a great size, with a balcony which we loved, and easy to get to main attractions from this central hotel. Clean room, friendly staff, would recommend for a short stay to anyone.

Whilst the staff were nice enough and friendly the place itself could really use a serious facelift. Good location but you can find something much better for the price. The paint is peeling off the walls and the whole place seems like it's falling apart.

I didn't have any issues with this property. It's not luxurious, but it's a budget hotel. It was clean and reasonably comfortable and it's located right by the Gothic Quarter and steps away from the metro. At first I thought the reception was a bit frosty as well, but once I got to know the older man up front, he...

The hotel was very basic but clean and the location excellent! We knew it would be noisy as it was on a busy street and near a square (public demonstrations etc) but we used ear plugs and had no trouble. The room was cleaned daily
