I stayed in one of the apartments at the top of the hotel for two weeks. The room was comfortable and clean. Above all the staff were extremely helpful at all times and I was made to feel like one of the family.

Positives - good location, cheap, plenty of space in the room and good wifi. Negatives - BED BUGS. Plus, the beds and pillows were generally uncomfortable. The mattresses had no mattress protector and the bed coverings appeared to not have been cleaned properly. But really, there's nothing that needs to be said after bed bugs - there's no excuse for...

This hotel is in an excellent location, walking distance to Plaza Espana and the metro and train station there, also very handy to the airport bus. The hotel front door is always locked for added security but there is always someone at the desk or nearby to let you in. The room was a decent size, large hallway leading into...

Myself and my son went to Barcelona to see FC Barcelona. The hotel was approx 40 mins walk from the Nou Camp. There were plenty of bars and restaurants near the hotel and it was very easy to get to all the places of interest.

Great little hotel for our need to crash after a full day of sightseeing. Really clean, surprisingly quiet even though it's on a busy street, and has a GREAT breakfast. So tasty! Front desk clerks were nice and got us taxis when we needed them.

Bad cleaning, bad and rude receptionists and atmosphere. We even got bed bugs!! This Hotel really needs to get themselves new employees or owners who can run a hotel, because this was a terrible experience.

Basic hotel with renovated room and basic amenities. Friendly and accommodating staff. Stayed one night and it was convenient to get to the major metro lines (Close to Espanya) and a short walk to the barcelona sants station.

This hotel is two minutes walk from Plaza Espana which the Air coach and open top bus both stop at. There is also a metro stop here. Lots of cafes and bars in the area. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. Room a bit basic and dated but clean and room service every day.

Hotel is kept locked but there is someone at the front desk all the time to let you in. The room was clean and the air conditioning was average. If you need to sleep is an ice cold room you may be uncomfortable. The breakfast was fresh with fruit, cereal, pastries, meats, cheeses ect. The lady that runs the breakfast...

First experience travelling to Europe and my first location was barcelona. Hotel Azul was very central in location in order to catch some of the touristic attractions and easy to get to. The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms very confortable and spacious for a triple room. If you can afford the attic room go for it. It...
