We were daughter and mother travelling on this trip; as a treat for daughter completing university on one hand, and a well needed break from work by me, on the other. On arrival we were immediately allocated a room, even though we were early for...More

With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local
musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.

We also had a voucher and we found out it was for bus transportation. We decided to take a cab and we arrived early around 10. The lines were not open but they directed us to our line and we were able to board after a short wait in the suite lounge. We noticed everyone was able to check-in once the lines opened but have no idea when they boarded.
