We didn't like the place so we mooved to another place as quickly as we could. There is no kitchen to cook in and the showers are not at all comfortable. Its like a mission to take one. The people in reception were nice though.. Breakfast was not worth the 2 euro - lacked good coffee and basic things like...

Awesome location, cool staff that spoke english, clean, affordable, perfect for my weekend trip. Got a card as a key and felt secure in my room which I shared with 13 other people. Met some awesome people too. Would definitely recommend!

This hostel is very noisy but clean. The people are really welcoming but this place is full of noisy people partying. If you want to visit early in the morning, you have to know that you didn't rest well at night because from the dorm you hear the noise of the people in the street. The breakfast is cheap but...

You can't beat the location of this hostel. Show up late, put your stuff away, walk out the door and you're close to everything, at least I thought so. Short walks to plenty of great stuff. No need to take the subway or a taxi or long walks. Just the location enough is to merit 5 stars, but other issues...

The Hostel is located right in the Gothic district which is AWESOME. Seriously. The staff is very nice and helpful. That said, the bathrooms, especially the showers, need a thorough cleaning. I saw mold on the showers.

I stayed 3 nights and my experience was excellent. It is middle of everywhere you can walk in Barcelona. Dorms are clean and everytime with fresh air and bunkers gives you your own privacy. Highly reccomanded!

We stayed five girls in a 18-beed room, and it was an okey stay. I normally go for hotels, and don't really like hostels. But it was doable. The first night it was really warm and humid. But the other days both the common rooms and doorms were nicely temperated. It feels safe, and is really central. I even forgot...

It was my first stay in a hostal and with its location and cleanness it was a great stay. The idea of curtains that seperate the beds in the room was amazing. In that way we all had our personal space in the room.

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
