We stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel was clean and basic with a good large shower, good selection of bathroom extras. The beds were comfy and a good storage area. The female receptionist we met on arrival was very helpful and advised us on the best places to eat and the local buses. The location was excellent with a...

This hotel in nothing more than a base to explore Barcelona. It is clean and accessible. Really close to the Hospital of St. Pau, and 5 minute walk to Sagrada Familia. Quiet area with restaurants around and some local markets for quick shop.

The hotel was very cheap and we knew what we were getting. It's a taxi ride away from most of the attractions pretty close to sagrada familia and park gwell (dodgy spelling). One of the reoccurring problems we had was that the toilet would not flush, be sure to have your confirmation printed on paper when you arrive as they...

Me and my two children stayed for two nights in this hotel last week. We were in room 209, it had three single beds in it, the one in the middle we were sure was going to collapse but it didn't! No tea or coffee facilities in the room, the room was very small for the three beds (about 3...

Very close to the Sagrada Família, just a 5 minute walk down the Avenue de Gaudí which has lots of shops, cafes for breakfast and a newsagent for late night essentials. Bathroom was small but the shower was excellent. Room was cleaned and tidied every day. Sant Pau Metro station close by. Although the night attendant couldn't speak much English...

Hotels in a great location for Sagrada and no more than a 10 Euro taxi trip to all the major points of interest. Rooms were cleaned every day with clean towels. Beds were comfortable. Shower was amazing with 2 shower heads and very powerful with hot water always available. I didn't find out until halfway through my stay that you...

H Top Bcn City is a very average hotel with the only redeeming factor being its walkable distance from the Sagrada Familia! The hotel has very strict policies, whereby if you reach before the check in time of 3 pm, you have to pay a 3 euro fee to deposit your baggage in the hotel baggage locker! First time in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The H·TOP BCN City ** is a modern, stylish, comfortable and very well situated hotel in Barcelona. In the hotel you will find from single to family rooms, to relax after a long day visiting Barcelona. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and conveniently priced. It is situated less than a minute walk from the biggest modernist monument in Europe, the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, and a very short distance from the Sagrada Familia. Closest "Metro", Barcelona's underground name, is Sant Pau/Dos de Maig from the L5 line and it is placed at 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel. To go to Sagrada Familia you will need to get off on the first stop, but being situated at very short distance going through the Avenida de Gaudi, we recommend you to go by walk. Eventually, if you like to go to Barcelona's city center, from Sant Pau/Dos de Maig Metro station there are  only five stations, so you will be in there in some 20 minutes from the hotel's door.
