A trendy modern Hotel/B&B with a 24/7 shop just 2mins from the door and walking distance to cafe's, restaurants. Jonas (receptionist) met us at the door and carried our cases to our rooms, super efficient check in , handed keys and made our way out into the warm Barcelona nightlife Breakfast consists of assorted fruit juices, coffee, cereals, pastries, cheese...

Our Taxi drove us right up to the door, it's best to have the street address, and the location is unassuming. The (old) lift was nice to have for getting the luggage to the 2nd floor (one up from the ground floor). The staff at the desk only work during the day, but this did not seem to present a...

Loved this B and B in Barcelona. It had a great location, easy to reach all the sites and great dining options near by. The rooms were gorgeous, completely refurbished but they still had the old world charm as it is a very old building. Great staff and great breakfast. Everyone was very helpful. Free walking tours leave each morning...

We booked this boutique BB because of the CENTRAL LOCATION and the descriptions and appealing pictures, including the COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST and FREE WiFi .....It was ALL AS DESCRIBED.. Nearest Metro stop "Diagonal". A brief 15min walk to both the Catalunya and Passeig de Gratias areas, Tourist hop-on-hop-off buses, Las Ramblas, La Pedrera, Casa Battlo (Great place to visit inside) etc....

We stayed here for 3 nights and this great little place served its purpose brilliantly. The place is clean and has lovely high ceilings in the rooms. Breakfast is very nice. The best part of the hotel is the staff. The staff are always ready to help with you and can help especially with tourists. The hotel is not staffed...

The Forget-me-Not Hotel is located in the Eixample area of Barcelona. A short walk of 10-15 minutes from the University Aerobus drop off point. The enterance is located on the Main Street just after the local Police station on the corner of the block. Entry is through a glass gated doorway. A sign for L'Appartments is clearly visible next to...

I have stayed here with my family first and then solo while on business in Barcelona. The location is great, close by neighborhood has many bars and restaurants and subway is close by. Practically walking distance to Sagrada Famililia, about 30 min and other attractions. Staff is great, rooms clean and nice and breakfast really good.

Stayed here for a short break in Barcelona, on the plus side the hotel is in a good location, walking distance to many sites and the staff were always ready with helpful info. On the negative side the room we were given was nothing more than what I would describe as a broom cupboard! Our room was very small and...

We stayed here in August 2015 for four nights. Excellent location near the Metro in the L'Exiample district. The room fits all your needs efficiently. There is one wardrobe closet, but not a lot of flat surfaces for all the things you travel with. Ended up using one night table to hold a carry-on bag. The staff were very friendly...

Great location for tourist sites. Friendly and helpful service. Parking a nightmare to find but safe. Stayed in small double which was clean and nicely decorated , contemporary and smart. Maybe too small for other than 1 night. Only downside was the constant rumble from the underground trains below and the restaurant until about 12am.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
