Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Stag Party. The staff at the hostel were brilliant, explaining everything perfectly, giving us a map of the local area and they even provide a bar crawl on the night time which was interesting! The Hostel is very secure, with a key card needed to get in the front door and...

Originally, I was only going to stay for a weekend, but I ended up staying for a week at Sant Jordi Hostel Gracia. The staff were really friendly, helpful and made excellent food (thanks Ronnie, Wagner and Pablo!). The free dinners were a real perk, and they helped give the hostel a homely atmosphere and a place to meet others....

The check in experience for us was quite disappointing! While we understand that the hostel has check in timings and we were happy to wait, but apparently the policy does not apply to girls. A couple of girls walked in after us and were immediately checked in and shown to their rooms! Total whaaaaaaaaaat?! moment! But once you check in...

Don't be dissuaded by the hipster talk, the hostel is great for anyone looking to socialize and have a clean and quiet place to sleep. The staff was awesome, especially Ronnie, Wagner, Pablo, and Nat. Free dinners were delicious and a great way to meet other travelers. Pub crawls were fun as well. Staff was really helpful with sightseeing suggestions...

Everything is perfect at Sant Jordi. The location is amazing right in the heart of Gràcia neighborhood. The hostel is modern, impeccably clean and has two gorgeous outside lounge spaces. They provide free lockers and you can sign up for the free dinner every day which, despite simple, is very good (shout out to chef Wagner). Everyone from the staff...

This is the most memorable experience I have ever had at a hostel. Every night, if you wanted to go, there was a pub crawl taking place. Every bar you visit is packed with people just from Sant Jordi hostels (there are a couple in Barcelona). The rooms are clean, lockers were large with electronic locks, and we even had...

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
