Just returned from a 2 day business trip staying at this hotel. The official rating may say 2 star, but this was truly a first class hotel, made so by the exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, big thank you to Sebastian who literally couldn't have...More
Stayed last Saturday 8th June for a night and would recommend this place, this place ticks several boxes, good central location be on the Ramblas in 10 minutes, decor is modern, rooms are pretty big with a suite 'feel' seating area in hall, big showers,...More

This is an excellent and good value choice if you need to stay sufficiently close to the main sights and neighborhoods of Barcelona. 10 minutes walk from Passeig de Gracia (and its direct train connection to the airport -Big plus!), 15 minutes walk to Barrio...More
First impression of the hotel wasnt good. We had two single rooms which were TINY! However, absolutely everything else was just perfect so after my initial reaction, I was happy.
Hotel location was just great - we practically walked everywhere - to Gaudi's La Sagrada...More
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best
exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

It depends on the weather. We were there in October, and some nights it was open, but not when it rained. There is a pleasant bar attached to the hotel (next door), which we enjoyed when it was cold or rainy.

Check in for the hotel is at 3pm, BUT in the past I have called and asked if I could be notified when I can check in early or let me know if my room is ready so I can check in early. My recommendation is call them and ask. If the hotel is not extremely crowded then it should not be a problem. Sometimes it works out in your favor but that is no guarantee.
