Overall the Moods hotel was pretty good. First and foremost the lady at front desk was awesome. She knew the ins and outs of Barcelona and helped us. Location is very important and this hotel is the perfect spot. Rooms were pretty clean but I would have updated the bathroom just a bit, but overall is was nice. The question...

Cute little hotel in a great neighbourhood. We stayed here just for one night because we had to catch an early train to the airport. Receptionists were super helpful and nice. They went above and beyond to help us. Room was clean and pretty nice. Terrace was super cute, but view was looking into the neighbouring buildings backyards. Bed was...

The room is lovely and so are the staff, the woman at reception took time to explain where everything was when we arrived. The rooms are small but just what we needed and are cleaned beautifully everyday.

Rooms are tiny so don't expect to spend much time in the room. Very clean and modern style. Best part was the hotel staff - extremely friendly, spoke good English and happy to offer advice for the city in any way they could

We really loved the location of this hotel, being our first time in Barcelona, we wanted somewhere central that we could walk to Las Ramblas without being right in the middle of it all. This was a well priced, fantastic find. Once we arrived, I really want to highlight the service that we received at check-in was beyond phenomenal. Not...

Our hotel was a pleasant surprise. Room very nice, clean. Could use a luggage rack for suitcases and shower rack for shampoo, and a full length mirror would finish the room off. The balcony with chairs and table was nice in the morning. We enjoyed our stay and the ladies at the desk were superb in recommending restaurants etc. I...

Very clean, stylish and centrally located hotel with super friendly staff. So why only 3 stars? Because it is the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed at - thanks to the constantly clanking doors, hard floors, and loud water noise whenever someone flushes the loo. I slept a total of about 3 hours last - despite going to bed at midnight....

The location is superb for a city trip, all you need is just close by but still quietly located within the centre, as the street has low traffic. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are rather small but comfortable with cosy beds. Depending on your room neighbours it can be a bit noisy. Cleanliness is okay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and provided us with helpful information for navigating the city and tips on where to dine. The room was small, but it made great use of the space. The bed was very comfortable with fantastic linens. We upgraded for a balcony suite which offered a wonderful place to...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
