Myself and my daughter stayed here for 5 nights from 11/9/16 to 16/9/16 for a much needed holiday & pre-return to Uni break& loved it!! I have stayed in Barcelona in 4 star hotels so didnt know what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised. We arrived very late due to a flight delay & had the BCN Montjuic...

The hotel is very easy to get to from the airport, it's very close to the bus stop, just catch the number 46 from the airport. To get to the city centre (or anywhere really) it's a 10-15 minute pleasant flat walk to Placa Espanya and then you can take the metro. On a few evenings we did the walk...

Nice and clean. I propose this hotel too anybody. It is too close to placa Espanya. You can use bus or metro from this hotel to all the basic destinatios of Barcelona Ωραίο άνετο και καθαρό. Αν ξαναεχόμουν στη Βαρκελώνη θα το προτιμούσα εκτός αν έβρισκα το κλώνο του στη Nova Icaria.

The hotel is clean and it's not far from the airport. Location to other sites is not too bad either. But we had stayed at 2 other hotels in Barcelona, including an apartment style, and this one just did not stack up well (and costs were close). I do think this is not a bad place for the under 30...

Just returned from a break here with my family and loved it. Although it is small this hotel offers almost everything you could need. only thing missing was a bar! however with bars and restaurants on the doorstep that didn't really matter. The hotel is modern and clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. it is positioned a little...

We loved BCn Montjuic for its convenience (close to main transport options and magic fountains and other attractions) and friendly staff (who were always willing to help). Apartment was clean and made up daily. Kitchen had most of what we needed but we could have done with an oven (although a microwave was available). Washing machine and dishwasher was very...

When arriving at the aparthotel I had specifically asked for a room not on the ground floor as I read how it was noisy though we were given a ground floor room, our room was also the triple room with two single beds instead of 1 double. We approached the staff about this and the next day were moved into...

We spent our honeymoon there at the end of May. It was a great place to stay: very clean, quiet, calm, lovely apartment, very well equipped, very nice staff ready to answer our questions. This so called hotel has been a big disappointment to me. I think this is more like a youth hostel. This is like a...

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
