The Hostal is very good for the price, it is well located in the center of the city but far for the noise. they clean every day and change towels also. The beds are so comfy and the attention of the hosts are great and professional. We will come back to this hostal in our way back to Barcelona.

Alex met us was very friendly could speak good english. You pay for what you get. Beds and room very clean. Towels changed every day and room cleaned. I think people expect too many extras for the price. Don't take what the outside is like to determine your accommodation. My sister and I are in our 60's and have travelled...

Depressing entrance with musty odor - scented oil everywhere. Pictures of Hostal are old and do not reflect the actual situation of rooms. Wifi is slow or not available. Room poorly soundproofed. No fridge in room nor any coffee machine or waterboiler for tea. Room not clean.

The location is the best thing about this hostal and honestly the only good thing we could say. The staff seem friendly at first, Alex more so than Jorge. However, Jorge can be very rude and ignorant which ruined the last night of our stay. The towels were changed every day but our sheets for a five night stay remained...

It is a great hostal to be, close to all major attractions and to metro station in case you want to go somewhere farter. They do not offer breakfast, but there are plenty of little coffees with cheap food around it. The beds are so comfy and even I never sleep before in another place, but here I have the...

Only two nights in this little Hostel, but enough to appreciate it. Nice staff, George and Alex were too kind and friendly, they gave us a city map and a hairdryer and were 24h available by a phone number, because there isn't a 24h reception (they will give you the key). The room was small but cleaned and there was...

This Hostel is located in a central area, we arrive late in the afternoon, and the Manager waited for us. He was quite cordial and helpful. The Room and 00 were spotless. Due to the central location of the Hostel we were able to walk around to several city landmarks. We out the need of public transportation.

Nice stay in the hotel. It is an apartment with a few rooms that has been made into a hostel. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The hostel owner is a very nice person. There is no reception and hence you can checkout and check-in only at certain times. Initially had a hard time to locate the hostel. There...

Sorry had to put a negative review on here but these guys need to sort their reservations priorities out and honour customer bookings, I see this has happened with others. Firstly I booked a few months ago only to be told a week before that my booking had been cancelled, very inconvenient and had to make alternative arrangements, very inconvenient....

Everything what I needed at low price. Lack of kitchen and slow Internet were the only disadvatages, good enough to check important things and comunicate. Close to city center, a few minutes walk to metro station, area where you can eat breakfast and drink coffee for 3 euro! :)

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
