Definitely get what you pay for here - tiny, scruffy room with cracked tiles, broken socket, windows that wouldn't shut, sink balanced on newspaper on its pedestal, shower holder broken... It is in a very convenient location, 5 mins walk from the main Placa Espanya Metro and not far from the essential tourist visit to the fountains. But otherwise the...

My experience was just ok.. the plugs in the room didn't work, there was no ac but there was a fan and because the plugs didn't work it a choice between boiling to death or charging your phone. Like some hotel noise is understandable but when you can hear clearly hear other peoples conversation is a bit too much. I...

The bedroom although small and old was acceptable, what was not acceptable was how filthy the room was; it even had cigarette makings on the bedroom floor, not bad for a non-smoking room 'I don't think'. Light bulbs were missing, the fire detection system was an old fashioned sprinkler unit (any smoke would have killed my wife and I before...

Can't complain as cheap, large, and clean room. However is in desperate need of some general upkeep. Able to shut out the noise of busy main road outside and have a hot shower so I was happy - don't stay here if you are otherwise fussy! A three star 1 star hotel if that makes sense?!

My sister, neice & I spent 5 nights at the hotel. Our room was cleaned everyday & the beds were made each day, we had clean towels everyday with soap. There is a small cafe attached to the hotel where you can buy a quoissant & cafe con leche for 4 euro. Basic but enough to get you going for...

Just came from 5 days visit in Barcelona. Hotel Climent was good choice for us, simple but clean, for good price with helpful staff. Reccommend for all and hoping to come back. Close to metro and to airport bus.

Cons No free wifi. Saying that price includes breafast is something misleading. A cup of coffee and a scary croissant is NOT a breakfast! Not close to the very centre.(More that 20 minutes walking to Las Ramblas). Pros The woman in the reception is very helpfull as long as the old man. You can leave your luggage for free Close...

I stayed here for a 2 night weekend break with my daughter in a twin room. We arrived at the hotel to a woman at reception who was on the phone for 10 minutes laughing and joking and did not even acknowledge we were there. After finally checking in, a small old gentleman who could not speak any english took...

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
