This place is just great. So clean, comfortable and well maintained. It's location is the main thing! It's located in the Gothic quarter so the buildings surrounding it are pretty amazing in architecture and there are tons of restaurants and cafes plus supermarkets and snack shops all around. It's literally a 5 mins walk to La Rambla for all the... More

We visited the hotel for a long-weekend in mid-November. You can't get closer to the City than this, with the location close to Plaza Sant Jaume and El Born. With only a short waIk to the Rambla and other "must see" objects, you can forget taxi and public transport for the whole weekend. The hotel is very nice with a... More

Stayed at the Catalonia Avinyo the week leading up to Xmas. Had a fantastic time the room was perfect, the location was brilliant and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The male receptionist provided us with a list of lovely Tapas restaurants away from La Rambla. The room was a room was quiet considering the central location. Would definitely stay... More

This is a great place to stay in Barcelona - it is in the heart of the historic quarter, it's quiet and modern. The staff is great - very helpful and friendly. Wifi is excellent and they have a computer station with a printer. There's a rooftop pool and hottub as well as an exercise room (though with all the... More

I stayed at Catalonia Avinyo after working at a conference in Barcelona. On arrival the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. I was given a room (507) which was inside facing. When I got to the room I was freezing and couldn't turn the aircon off so had to call reception, when someone came to look I was told... More

Extremely pleasant, helpful and courteous staff. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed. Great breakfast with lots of choice of hot or cold food. The location in the gothic quarter was superb. We recommend the Hotel Avinyo and will most definitely be staying there next time we visit. This hotel and its staff made our visit to beautiful... This hotel is very good. It is modern and trendy, and very quiet and comfortable at the same time. The location is perfect, in the beautiful Barri Gotic, very close to La Rambla and Plaza Real, with plenty of pubs, shops and attraction within five minutes walking distance. It is also very close to the Liceu metro stop. Highly recommended.

We stayed here based on the location and it's in the best part of the Gothic Quarter. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the size was not too bad.
