A good location with excellent staff.
The room was small and had no view but was spotless clean and comfortable.
The staff was excellent.
I got the room for early checkin at 10:30 am on arrival, a very nice surprise.

Very clean hotel, convenient location near La Rambla and other nice spots.
Good and plentiful breakfast but it could be improved.
The rooftop pool was very appreciated after a long hot day.
Would go back!
I am having to right this out of frustration & deep annoyance if the way my friends & I have been treated by Sunotel Central. We booked 6 rooms back in March around 11.30pm through a booking agency. We realised we had made a mistake...More
Location was excellent - central and close to everything. The rooms were a bit small with basically no view. The rooftop pool and Jacuzzi are small and we had to wait 1 hour until we could go inside. Overall, it's an okay hotel.
Tiny room. Friendly staff...basic amenities. Pool on rooftop is tiny and so is the jacuzzi (2 max). No alcoholic beverages on the rooftop. Not really a nice view either.
Hotel location is however very good. Short walk to La Ramblas.

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

on arrival we got off the bus at Catalunya and we had a bit of a walk to find our hotel . What I would suggest is that you get off the stop before at the University . Walk up the Carrer Muntaner until it meets Carrer Valencia . The hotel is just round the corner. Easiest way to get around the attractions is to get the metro at Hospital Clinic which is five minutes away . It is by far the best way to see everything . When you get on the aerobus you will be given a free map of the city which is really helpful to see where everything is . Hope you have a wonderful time 😊
