Just back from Barcelona. First, when in Barcelona, if you need any information forget about internet. Ana and Natalie are far more precise and much better then Google, Bing or whatever. B&B localization is great, just across the street is metro station. We were in the room overlooking Av. Diagonal and I did not mind the noise (which is normal...

My boyfriend and I have spent 4 nights in Ana's lovely place and I would recommend it to all my friends. As for pros and cons, the only negative aspect was that the room was quite small and dark and the bed was queen size. It wasn't a huge problem anyway, as we were out visiting the city the whole...

What a find! It felt like home away from home. Quaint b&b, very good attention from Ana, pretty little nooks to either read, watch tv or just chill. Ana's always available to suggest what to do on a daily basis. Certainly the best location. Will definitely be back!

I spent two nights at Ana's Guesthouse between Christmas and New Year 2012. Ana and Nathalie looked after me wonderfully, and I could not have asked for anything more. The room was extremely comfortable (and very tastefully decorated, as was the whole house), with everything you could possibly need, the breakfast was incredible, and I only wish I could have...

I see many others have mentioned the excellent location, so I won't talk about it. The atmosphere was what i liked the most - Ana makes the place cozy and welcoming. She took me under her wing from the start - gave me many useful suggestions for sightseeing and having fun. The place itself - an old apartment converted into...

My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights at Ana's Guesthouse from 21st to 23rd of september. Very very pleasant stay! First about the location ... We took the bus from the airport to Plaza Catalunya and then decided to walk to the guesthouse. About 25 minutes walking, along Passeig de Gracia, a lot of shops, Gaudi's houses ... Very nice...

I didn't know what to expect, staying at a guest house in a city I've never been in. I also don't speak or understand Spanish well. But from the very first emails with Natalie I felt at home. First the cons: The specific building and location in the building is a little confusing. It is upstairs above some businesses and...

Just got back from Barcelona where we stayed at Ana's Guest House for 2 nights. The place is as cute as a button and very clean! Ana and Natalie are wonderful hostesses who go out of their way to make you comfortable and to assist you in any way they can. We stayed in room 6 with two twin beds....

My boyfriend and I stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed it. Nathalie upgraded us to a room with our own bathroom for no additional charge (we even had a bathtub!) and she also stayed up until 1am to let us into the B&B when our train from Marseilles was delayed for 2 hours. They also prepared a mini-breakfast...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
