The fact is, place is pretty good and good located, because it is situated next to Ramblas. Room was clean and nice, cleaning service was very good, but service in the reception and during breakfast was not enough polite. Breakfast was not varied at all and poor, we had to wait long time if something had finished.

I would recommend this hotel if you are staying just a few nights and you are planning to stay most of your time outside your hotel. The room was small, but very clean and modern. There was no windows outside - instead there was an "inside" window to the entry hall. I found this a little strange, but there were...

My second time here. First time we had a room to the front of the building and the noise, even high up, could disturb a light sleeper. Having read other reviews it seems 'internal' rooms leave a little to be desired. Any where at the back is great as there is no noise and at my stay 2 weeks ago...

Possibly the worst experience of my life. Internal room with no ventilation making it difficult to breathe and no way to cool down the room without opening the front door. The extractor fan in the bathroom would keep coming on in the middle of the night in an attempt to cool the room down. Staff not interested to help and...

Situated between plaza universidad/ catalunya/ la rambla. Only minutes from all main tourist areas, buses, metro. Excellent location for shops, eating out and partying! Close to main gay nightlife! Hotel chic, comfy beds and well maintained! Would definitely use again!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were only here for 1night before getting on a cruise. The location was just close enough to Las Ramblas, Catalunya Plaza, and the metro - about a 5-10 minute walk. The room was clean, modern, and served it's purpose. Two elevators ensured no waiting. The bottled water was a bonus. The staff...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
