Stayed here for two nights as part of a cycling holiday package. Room (a small suite) was dull and soul less. Room was so clinical it felt like a funeral parlour ! It was located at the rear of the hotel where the bank opposite is having major building works ..and noisy. I have stayed in various English Premier Inns...

We were 4 friends staying in Girona for one night, as a side trip during a week in Barcelona. Girona was a fantastic getaway--compact and walkable with beautiful sights to see. Hotel Peninsular was the perfect base for us during our stay. Our room was large and clean-- the only downside was the lack of bedside lamps on one side...

We stayed 4 nights in room 311, a great twin room with two windows opening over the street and a window in the ensuite bathroom opening into a light well. Only down side is that the ensuite from room 310 comes right into the room and its walls are not very soundproof. Looking at the floor plan, only two rooms...

Booked a January break to Girona and based on trip advisor reviews and photos I selected this hotel! Was not disappointed, great hotel from start to finish! Clean modern and the staff were all so helpful, food in the Savoy restaurant was always fantastic, and right in the heart of the city, evening walks around the old town just added...

Pleased with the location of the hotel. No fridge or tea and coffee facilities which would have been nice. Hotel arranged with my cycle holiday so didn't check properly. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Would recommend.

This is a great place to stay if you are taking the train and walking. Only a 10 minute walk from the train station and just across the bridge from Old Town. The staff was very nice and our room was good but its location was not - at the top of the stairs on the first level. All the...

If you are not looking for modern luxury this hotel is passable for its location and helpful staff. Walking distance to all major attractions within the walls of the old town. Lots of eateries, bars and shops around - so exterior rooms can be very noisy until late at night. I was there for one week had an exterior room...

The rooms were adequate, I luckily had a street view. Quite clean, smallish room. Reception staff very good, as was breakfast staff. Lovely bar for a drink and chat, however dined there one evening, and thought that was less than average

This older building is well kept, with fresh paint and some boutique style to the lobby. The small rooms are utilitarian yet well-kept. The friendly staff will oblige with advice and assistance. It has two advantages. One, a short walk across a main river bridge puts the visitor in heart of the old city with its handsome stores, historic sights...
