I recommend this hotel a lot. It was a surprise from my partner and the room, dinner, breakfast and staff was over the top. He got the best room in the hotel and I highly recommend it. You've front row to sea views from any part of the room: lying in bed, having a shower or chilling out in the private terrace. The bed was so comfortable and big. As it's a very new hotel, you feel like you're the first ones to experience it. As it's a hotel with just a few rooms, that makes it feel even more private. The dinner was delicious (they serve bread from the best bakery of Catalunya). I highly recommend the cod, prawns with garlic, the local soup and beef. The service from the waiters was unbelievable. You could tell that they enjoy their job a lot. The breakfast was great too with a wide variety from fruit to pastries, natural juices, milk, coffee, eggs and a special menu that you can ask for (I highly recommend you the potatoes omelet, which is local and the avocado & salmon toast). We talked with the whole staff from the cleaners to the manager including waiters and receptionist and they're very professional, fast, always with a smile and friendly. We'll come back for sure and I've been talking about the hotel to my friends, family and colleagues. It's an amazing place to relax close to the sea with a private, luxury & historical hotel.

This review is not based on our stay, but based on a suberb response to our unfortunate situation. We were to stay at this property for three nights beginning on July 22, 2020. Due to the coronavirus, our travel plans were cancelled. We booked a Duplex Sea View at a non-refundable rate. I called the hotel and spoke with Alberto. He could not have been more friendly or understanding of our situation, immediately offering a full refund of our costs. Within a day I received an e-mail from Clótido, informing us that the funds were transfered. A day later, I was notified that the funds were in my account. I was so very impressed by their quick and sympathetic response. Customer service at its absolute finest. We look forward to staying in this hotel as soon as the opportunity presents itself again!

This small hotel in Sitges is just wonderful. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself is beautiful. We stayed in a garden duplex room (room 11) which was perfect for a family of three. Son had double sofa bed in main living room (which has balcony and huge window overlooking pool area) and up the stairs was our large double bed and the bathroom. Everything was incredibly clean, and there are nice touches like robes, slippers, little chocolates. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel is 5 mins walk along the seafront to where the restaurants and shops begin, so it is in a quieter part of the street which we really liked. Pool area is lovely and was quiet (early April). We didn't eat dinner at the hotel but did have breakfast and the buffet had a good selection of cereal, pastries, etc and there was hot food as well. Lovely to sit in the restaurant for breakfast with a view of the sea. The hotel itself is lovely, Sitges is a great place to visit, but it is the staff that really makes this hotel stand out. (A special thank you to the new staff member on reception – male – whose name I didn't catch but who was so helpful and informative throughout our stay).

We liked our split level room ( 7) overlooking the pool and also nice and quiet tho at this time of year the A/C was on all the time. The hotel also is of attractive design and decor. The bathroom is a bit of a triumph of form over functionality; not a hook in sight apart from the two already taken up by the two robes. The sink tap handles are also impossible to turn with a wet hand but these are minor gripes really Service is terrific and brilliant English spoken.The bar is also well stocked with a knowledgeable barman. The beach is across the road and it’s a short walk to the restaurants and bars.

We stayed at Casa Vilella from 9th to 12th August 2019. I was unsure if I had posted a review here and as we have just booked to return decided to do so now just in case.
The reason for our stay was a celebration of our 1 year anniversary of our meeting and secretly my plan which luckily came to fruition to propose to my boyfriend
From booking to leaving the staff at Casa Vilella were amazing, Simona helped organise the surprise dinner on the terrace restaurant overlooking the sea where I would propose, everything from food to service was outstanding and always a smile, noting was too much trouble. We had a duplex garden room with every amenity and comfort thought of. It was stunning. The beds are so comfortable and everything scrupulously clean.
We are marrying (Covid allowing) in May 2021 and have booked the central sea view room for 13 nights and can not wait to return. Sitge is a pretty and friendly place with plenty of nightlife and restaurants. If you are considering this hotel, dio not hesitate to book immediately you will not regret it and will leave feeling like you have new friends

Wow ......the room and decor stunning the location amazing on the sea front. The staff charming , the pool was closed for renovation but that was fine as it was February , the communal areas are lovely to sit and relax , breakfast was great (maybe a little cold) but I was late ! I have stayed in Sitges before in one of the larger hotels that was slightly cheaper but from now on this will be my choice the slightly higher price is worth ever penny for a far superior hotel ,service.felt very comfortable being a solo traveller

From the warm greeting by Mario, the spacious room with the view of the pool, the very comfortable king-size bed with high quality linens, our stay at Casa Vilella was outstanding. We had the garden view "standard room" which was spacious and quiet, despite being on the ground floor and off of the lobby - two doors and a short corridor insured tranquillity. The hotel is on the water at the quiet end of Sitges. The first floor living room and the terrace are great places to relax with a glass of wine. Breakfast was included in our stay, and there were a variety of options, including cooked to order omelets. The service staff are genuinely kind and courteous. With only 14 rooms, this is truly a high value boutique hotel. The building was designed by Gaudi's disciple, Joan Rubió i Bellver and has been updated to modern standards of comfort. We were able to find free on-street parking a short distance from the hotel.

A well appointed hotel with lovely common areas and very helpful staff.
However, the pool and rear courtyard lacked atmosphere. We felt it really need more plants.
The breakfast was great but finished at 10.30 on the dot with no further access to the buffet at that point.
We had one of the duplex rooms on the first floor with a sea view. For the price we found this to be expensive.:
1. The room felt cramped with a small living/tv area but limited space to put suitcases. The view towards the beach was limited due to the roof of the front dining rooms.
2. The bathroom was good (although no hooks to hang clothes and towels).

A beautiful boutique hotel located right across the beach, on the quieter end of Sitges beach, with very little car traffic. Only a short 10 min walk to the main town.
We had a seaview duplex room, which has a loft where the bed is and a main living area, perfect size for a couple. It was so close to the beach that we left the windows open and you can hear the waves crashing.
The rooms were modern and the pool area was beautifully tiled with lots of lounge chairs. Since there are only 16 rooms and perhaps 10 occupied, it felt like we had the place to ourselves.
The two young men at the front desk very extremely helpful and pleasant and responded quickly to all requests.
The restaurant has excellent service, and the breakfast buffet is tasty, but could have used more selections. We ate at the restaurant 2 nights, it is actually closed to the public on Monday and Tuesday and only open to guests.

In summary, we can’t wait to go back to this warm, calming oasis with the staff to match!
It took us 4 years, but we were so glad we finally made it to Casa Vilella in Sept 2023. Over those 4 years of annually booking then being forced to cancel due to COVID or family matters, the staff was patient and helpful every single time. We always ask lots of questions when planning, but they were prompt and enthusiastic always. Once we finally arrived, they continued in person to make our vacation wonderful, from the crisp fresh room, to the food and to the pool. The location is perfectly situated for an easy walk to everything and as you can see, well positioned to enjoy the coast at your doorstep. We will try to stay in our same room again with its big terrace and big windows to enjoy the sea view from inside or out. AC and shower pressure/temp were perfect. We stayed at 3 hotels with pools during our trip, but Casa Vilella’s pool was the best in part because of its warm water temp, possibly heated. We enjoyed daily sea view breakfast, a lunch and two dinners during our 5 day stay.
We are so happy Casa Vilella and the team are there and clearly enjoy what they are doing - Sergi, Vico and Mario just to name a few. Muchas Gracias!

Regarding the laundry facilities we would like to confirm you that we have a daily service.
A taxi from the train station to the hotel is around 7-10 Euros.
In reference with the pool, we would like to inform you it is open all year long even so it is not heated.

"Wonderful rooms, but avoid the duplex room if you need to use the bathroom during the night. Bedroom stairs are steep! Garage spaces are a little tight for lg cars. "
