Detailed Reviews
Came here for a birthday trip away with family. The room I was staying in was lovely, in a quiet part of the hotel with a nice view, but having read previous reviews, I can see I was extremely lucky to get a room like this and having walked through the hotel, I can see why others may not have had the best nights sleep.
The hotel itself is quite dated. It does have a quirky feel to it and the location next to the port and the views you get from the room do bump this up a point or two.
The main flaw for me is the WiFi. I’m pretty sure it’s standard in most hotels across the world but this one and despite having brought this to the attention of the hotel reception on numerous occasions, this didn’t seem to be an issue for them. I did overhear them saying to one couple when I was there that it was being upgraded and to log into a different WiFi, however I couldn’t find this network at all. Luckily I was here for a holiday but if I was here on business, I’d probably have been quite annoyed.
Breakfast buffet was okay. Standard scrambled eggs, bacon etc with a coffee machine and some cheeses and cold meets. Nothing to get too excited over.
Would I stay here again? No, probably not.
Would I recommend people to stay here? If you’re happy to be off grid for the duration of your stay, this is the place. If you’re looking for a 4* experience, I’d probably try a different hotel.
Also a suggestion for the hotel: please consider not changing the towels everyday, I was happy to re-use mine for 1-2 days in a row (they provided me with 2 towels but I was staying in a room on my own) however these were changed everyday regardless of where I put them before housekeeping came in. It is standard practice in most hotels now and would really be helping the environment. Most days they were probably washing a towel that hadn’t even been used.

We stayed here 9 years ago and had such fond memories we thought we would stay again. We had saved an email with the room number from our previous stay and emailed the hotel to ask if it was free for a 2 night stay. It was, however they asked us if we wanted to see the same room with a different view, to see if we would prefer it. We did.
We had a junior suite with a balcony & dual aspect windows. You can watch the sunrise from your bed and fall asleep to the sound of the waves lapping on the shore. The room was very spacious and provided a great base for us over the three days.
Parking in €20 a night, which is expensive, however we were pleased to have parking as Sitges was very busy on the night we arrived.
The staff are so helpful, the hotel is clean and interesting, with amazing art installations that create conversation.
The hotel is at the far end of the town and about a 10 minute walk to the town centre, however the walk of course is good for us, and the views on the walk through the marina, past the church and along the promenade are just wonderful.
We hope to come back in another few years.

The Hotel is in a great location over looking a beach, however it is a pleasant 25 min walk by the beach and harbour to the centre of Sitges. We stayed half board and you can choose either to eat lunch or dinner, the food is excellent quality but the service can be a little slow. We experienced excellent service from the lady receptionist when she changed our room, which offered a better view of the beach and could not fault the service she offered, always with a smile, so thank you.
It is the most interesting hotel we had visited with all the Art work on show. We would have no hesitation in staying in this hotel again, its not perfect but its clean with friendly staff, in a good location and you are never bored with all the Art work on show. Thanks again for a great holiday.

The location by port entrance and overlooking the beach is very relaxing.
Hotel has a relaxed and chilled out vibe.
The superior rooms with individual artist drawings are all on the first floor at the front overlooking the beach.
Breakfast is fine and taken inside or outside on the terrace. The guys are very busy and it took over an hour to clear the tables outside. We sat and took coffee so this is was the reality we observed.
Pool area is fine, however only two sun brolleys and no pool bar service.
Why did the hotel lose two stars
1, WiFi is non existent in the rooms. They changed the system whilst we stayed without telling us and we still could not connect except in the reception area. We had two rooms and nobody could connect apple or windows devices.
2, No tea or coffee in either room - this is a 4 star hotel so quite surprised.

Very disappointing experience ! The Wi-Fi is nonexistent, inspite virtually existent , with the internet being either extremely slow or not working at all. If you plan toi work there -forget it ! The furniture and electrical fixtures are outdated and haven’t been renovated in years. USB connections? Never heard never seen ! Nowhere to be found. The bathroom is poorly equipped with just a few towels and no body lotion. The cups provided are cheap plastic, and the shower is old and worn out. The toilet paper was of such poor quality—it felt like sandpaper, rough and scratching the skin. Some electrical sockets didn’t work. The noise in the room was unbearable, coming from both outside the hotel and inside. The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The curtains are shabby. The same was with the furniture. There is no safe, despite it being listed as available. The breakfast is mediocre, and the boiled eggs were served cold, as if they had just come from the fridge. Breakfast saturdays and sundays is served at 8:30 ! Sorry but very bad experience .

A charming, quirky and arty hotel. Very comfortable bedrooms, opposite a quiet beach
Sitges is a hilly 15 min walk away, but it’s a lovely stroll through the port.
If you want to be near the nightlife, it’s probably not the place….but for everything else it’s perfect

Located on the outskirts of Sitges. About 20 minutes walk from the train station and the same time from the hotel to the city center. But you can walk along the promenade and see great views and historical sights. There is one small shop near the hotel, but the prices are a bit more expensive than in the city. Prices in the restaurant are the same as in the center. Special thanks to the guys from the restaurant! We arrived after 10:00 pm. They fed us deliciously and recommended a great wine (btw not expensive). Our room (104) was on the 1st floor with the sea view. 3 minutes from a small but beautiful sandy beach. If you walk a little further, you will find a "wild" stone beach with brilliant water. The room was cleaned really good. Thank you for the pleasant memories. I want to come back to you!

Hotel didn’t have a single iron to lend to guests. They say it’s because they have laundry service. It’s the same as not having hair dryer because you have a beauty salon in the lobby. Very unpleasant!! Not acceptable for a 4* hotel. And front desk people were 0 helpful with my need.
Room was too hot and the AC was turned off. After complaining they provided me a fan. Breakfast is OK, nothing that makes us super excited about, just ok.

Out of season (on a business trip), partly to see the sea - beautiful here - and partly to escape the crazy prices of Barcelona, we come across this hidden jewel... and the whole stay is a pleasant wonder. From the courtesy of Amanda, the exquisite 'night porter' who leaves her post at one o'clock to make us a hot milk (also letting us choose between 4 different types of leche!!!), to the structure, which is a beautiful gallery of works of Spanish surrealism (which you can also find in your room) collected with great taste for the pleasure of even the least 'prepared' eyes.
With these premises, the amazing view enjoyed from the room with balcony overlooking the sea is almost trivial!! Stuff you never want to leave...
The icing on the cake: the IRIS restaurant, which competes for creativity and quality with the very famous ones (also winning for the professionalism and courtesy of the staff)
Well done: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Our first choice hotel when we used to come to Sitges before we bought our apartment just around the corner, whenever anyone comes to visit us we always recommend the Estela, it really does live up to its name of being an Art hotel, each room has its own individuality and we always love seeing Linda Evans, aka Krystle Carrington, in reception.
Great priced hotel, great location, nice clean and large rooms, really good breakfast and it’s good to see Miguel still working there all these years later.
Warmest regards
Ronnie & Mat Banks

Passeig vilanova is the closest for you, 4km from the hotel, about 10min. by taxi from there.
The other addresses are very far away from the hotel.
Enjoy your stay ;-)
There isn't any i the rooms maybe they will give you one at a charge !
Yes, there is a bus in front of the hotel up to the train station. Every 15 minutes you can take a train up to Barcelona which takes about 30 minutes.
Not that I recall
