The medium sitges park hotel, completely renovated in 2012, is located in a late 19th century Catalan modernist building in the lively, picturesque old quarter of Sitges. The reform work respected the inherent style of the hotel and introduced elements of freshness and Mediterranean tones. Its ideal location means that all points of interest are less than five minutes walk away as it is very close to the beach, entertainment centres and the train station. It has a restaurant, bar and a garden with a swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and fitted with all conveniences to ensure a comfortable stay.

The hotel is old colonial style with a round tower facing inwards. The front facing façade is flat and unlit and could easily be missed but once inside the reception was warm and smelt great but not in an overpowering way.
Our room overlooked the well maintained garden with outdoor pool which houses the separate breakfast room area. This area is modern with contemporary art. Breakfast was included offering scrambled eggs, bacon sausage etc with fresh fruit and warm pastries and everything in between. Our room was modern with English channels on the tv. There was tea and (instant) coffee supplied with a kettle and cups or for 2€ you can have coffee in reception at any time. There was a ‘fridge in the room offering the usual. The bathroom was slightly older style but clean with extras like shower gel, toothbrush, comb etc. The communal areas were very inviting and comfortable. Wifi was free and easy to access. There are lifts. Public car parking is available a short walk away at El Retiro where there is a deal for hotel guests. Loved this hotel and will definitely return

A very good hotel with a big bold BUT....
The hotel is nicely located in Sitges center and still quiet inside. The pool is nice. The service team at front desk, at the pool bar and room service are very friendly and professional. The breakfast is good too but frustrating and stressful.
Due to Covid19 safety measures that the hotel is taking very seriously which reassuring from one side but at same time you can easily notice that the hotel management lack deep understanding of customer comfort and basic fundamentals of customer service.
They decided to serve breakfast by turns of 30mn which is ok but then they force the friendly staff to manage it like a school or a military canteen. Considering the queue and the time other customers are taking to decide what they want this leaves one with 20mn to have breakfast. In addition to that they didn’t think even to put a takeaway cups for coffee for example and they don’t allow you to take coffee out so that you can respect the 30mn timeslot free the table and still relax and enjoy your coffee in open air.
Without mentioning the agressive behavior of one of the managers.
They do not understand the basic concept that people pay for hotel to have a good relaxing quality time and not to be frustrated by a bad management decisions.
I think There are enough bad decision makers in this world that no one need more even during vacation:)
Likely other than the unprofessional manager, the service staff are highly qualified and put from themselves to cover the bad behavior of their managers.
We wouldn’t be surprised if this nice hotel start unfortunately to have less and less returning customers

Dear skyousef, Thank you for taking the time to write your comment, it is a pity not to identify yourself as a customer. As you indicate we have a great staff, with very good ratings in all places and we are very proud of them. Nobody has chosen the situation we are experiencing, and that is why we cannot lead a normal life, nor can we compare a vacation in the midst of a pandemic as if we were not living it like that…. The health of our clients and all of our staff is very important to us and that is why we have developed safety and hygiene protocols to keep us all safe and sound, keeping distances and capacities. For you it may not be the most valued and therefore you question our management, something worrisome in these times ... We hope to see you again soon at our hotel on your next stay in Sitges. Receive a warm greeting from the entire team at the medium sitgespark hotel.

Liked:
Location: Loved that you walked out the door into the centre of Sitges. In fact it was quite a surreal experience to leave the relative peace and quiet behind and step into a busy street.
Lovely lobby area
Very nice garden and pool area (though a lot smaller than the photos make it look)
Nice bright breakfast room
Comfortable bed

Didn’t like:
Rooms not of a good standard (décor is as photos on website indicate but rooms on website definitely more luxurious). We were booked for a ‘city view’ (on purpose as I avoid pool views in hotels in case music is played around the pool). The room we were sent to initially was in a semi basement, very dark and pokey, and smelt very damp and musty. We went back to reception to get another room. My husband went to check that one and came back reporting that it smelt even worse. We took the third room on the basis that it was a relief that it didn’t smell damp and musty. But the ‘view’ was into some kind of service area and it was hard to even judge whether the sun was out. The bathroom looked as though it dated from the 1980s. Very poor. And shower water kept changing between hot and cold while you were having a shower. Rooms badly in need of an upgrade to align them with the very attractive lobby area.

Breakfast was OK. Buffet in nice bright room. Hotel was trying to space out guests by asking you to book your time. But lots of guests didn’t seem to have got the memo re covid and were not social distancing as they moved around buffet or back to tables. It was especially narrow access around the juice and coffee which seems very stupid of whoever designed the layout (though mind you it was surprising that people went back for coffee.

Coffee was horrible. There is no excuse for it as the coffee machines in many hotels are good. Don't know if it was the machine or the poor coffee being used but it was undrinkable. We ended up grabbing some fruit and then leaving to go to a café in town for a cup of coffee. That shouldn’t be necessary.

If returning to Sitges I would not stay here again.

Its a nice enough hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful. When we initially arrived we found the room to be underwhelming, definitely expected more for the money, the bathroom was very dated and the room itself was nothing special, the air con was good.

We had to change room later on on the first day due to a strange drain smell in the room and this was no problem to the staff, the room we moved to in the main building was a little bigger but had the same dated appearance. There was also ants in the bathroom. We had paid extra for a garden view thinking it would mean a better room, but we were very disappointed. There is absolutely no point paying for a room upgrade here as the upgraded rooms just have a view of the pool. The streets around are not noisy so I would not pay for a garden view again and feel a little robbed that we did pay for it.

The breakfast is good, pleanty of choice, we stayed 5 nights and go a little bored of it by the end but no complaints.

The annoying thing about the hotel is the sun beds there isn't very many and people reserve them early in the morning. Some people go off for hours on end leaving just a towel on the bed, very unfair on people who actually want to use the beds. I think the hotel could do more here to prevent this. 1 - a sign saying beds unoccupied for an hour will have belongings removed. The bar staff are looking at the sun beds all day they could easily manage it. The bar staff were great and very friendly.

Over all a mixed experience not sure if I would return, the location is great however.

We had a short stay Hotel Medium Sitges Park this time. It was just as we left it last year. Perfectly situated in town, terrific breakfast buffet, lovely staff and pool. The pool area is small for the number of rooms in the two buildings so you cant always get a place but when you can, it's very nice. Our room this year, on the top floor had a great big terrace with deck chairs and a small table and chairs set up. Only issue is the neighboring room terrace is seperated by a small slatted screen so when one room is on the terrace-neither terrace has any privacy. Great size room an d beds. room, The cleaning service was a bit lax-once they left a full trash bag at the front door inside our room and another time they left a used cleaning rag on the table. Our last night Sitges had a heavy rain storm and about 1am the ceiling began to leak onto the bed. I went downstairs to explain what was happening. The front desk came with towels to see what was happening-we alreday had seperated the beds so they wouldn't get wet anymore. We were offered to move to another room, but it was 1am on our last night, it seemed like more trouble to move. These were small hiccups that would not prevent us for going back a 3rd time because it's a good hotel all around, but just maybe needs a fine tuning.

Beautiful stylish hotel centrally located. Well renovated with shabby chique interiors and contemporary dining.

We had a great stay enjoyed a front facing standard double room, with a Spanish balcony where you could soak up late afternoon sun with a glass of Cava while watching the bustling Spanish life go by

In the summer peak I would imagine this could be noisy, but town centre this is to be expected.
No
Room facilities were good, mini bar and kettle with tea and coffee..
Comfortable king-size bed all white cotton to match the whitewash decor.

The breakfast was 4* excellent variety. High quality coffee and fresh juices on offer buffet style. Really enjoyed a glass of bucks fizz and the traditional Spanish potato flan.
Pool area was well laid out for the centre of town, amazing space.

My only critism is the rooms seemed to have thin partition walls, as we could hear next door ( the shower and chatting) but overall no problem for us. But obviously if a noisy group stayed could disturb your peace.

I for one would love to return and would thoroughly recommend.

The best location, in the center of Sitges and close to the beach. The hotel is good but not cheap. Some observations, pool/beach towels are not like that, they only let you use them in the pool, you can't take them to the beach, so you have to take your towels to the beach because they get stained with sand, they say. The dryer is mini with little power. They are very strict with everything, two small bricks of complimentary water upon arrival, if you take one more from the mini bar €2.50. The breakfast is very varied except for fruit, which only has kiwi and watermelon or melon, there is no more. The pool bar very limited only drinks and pizza they told me that they had not left the kitchen prepared anything else when they offer salads, sandwiches etc. In short, to spend two or three days, expensive but enough. Cleaning very well. I don't know if I will return, I would look at other options.

Definitely my preferred hotel in Sitges, we came here for Carnaval 2019 and returned again for Carnaval 2020, just before lockdown. It was a great experience and we were even upgraded to Room 1, which has a turret and overlooks the pool. A really beautiful room, we appreciated and enjoyed it. We returned in August 2020 with friends to celebrate birthdays, and again we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel takes minimising the spread of Covid-19 very seriously, however every staff member was friendly and courteous. Big shout out to Carol at the pool bar - she definitely lifted our spirits. Will be back again in 2021.

Very good hotel, well located with amazing staff. I would have rated at 5/5 if it was not for the management of the hotel who apparently have no customer service background and deserve a 0/5 on their attitude They are very lucky to have a service team doing their best to make customers stay enjoyable (front desk, the pool bar, room service teams) despite the arrogance of their hotel managers.
The hotel takes the Covid safety measures very seriously which is highly appreciated however the management put in place ridiculous rules and hide behind the front staff to confront customers.
The breakfast works in turns of 30mn puting stress on the team to manage the queue (average 10mn) and fast service without allowing the customers for example to take their coffee to drink calmly. So it is a real marathon to take breakfast and drink coffee and finish everything in 20-25mn
They decided suddenly to limit the smoking in open air to a corner with 4 chairs, where we had to queue to smoke instead of applying the catalunya rules of separating tables by 2 meters and once one of the managers, shouted at a customer very agressively forgetting that thanks to customers they still have an income.
...And many other disappointing examples!!!

We stayed 2 weeks and could tolerate this unprofessional behavior only and only thanks to the good vibes of the team who are doing their best to compensate for their management failures.
Thank you Berni, Carol, Dora, Eva, Miguel, Konstantin, Reme, the 2 other charming ladies at the front desk. The efficient and permanently smiling room service ladies...without your joyful spirits and friendly service our stay would have been a nightmare. We could feel how embarrassed and stressed you were by the behavior of your management but you are the best! Kudos.

Great location! Good rooms. Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Pool bar staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly! And skilled!

Breakfast was great and staff was exceptional! Clean!

On the flip side, the staff should inform guests at check in that you need to request a key for the room safe from the front desk and that you need to guarantee it with a credit card. They should have also informed guests at check in that you have to have the special printed guest card with you to order drinks from the pool bar to charge items to your room. It would have prevented three additional trips to the front deck.

Hotel was billed as a mostly adult hotel. There were a lot of children.

I agree with Marcus0s that the railway station is best but if you prefer to take the bus, just ask for the centre of Sitges and you will get off in a square and the hotel is about 6 minutes walk. Enjoy Sitges!
