Stayed in this hotel one night. Honestly it was last minute reservation and all other hotels were booked already. In Celymar they try to keep the room clean, but you see signs of shabbiness everywhere, especially in toilet: cracked sink, rust on shower construction, toilet seat with black spots. Sound isolation is close to zero. I stayed in room 106, obviously it was over water pump, so not less than once an hour, sometimes more often there was loud noise from it. It was Friday night and under the window the street was full of young people drunk and having fun. They were laughing shouting singing till 6 in the morning. I complained to reception, but the answer was it is Sitges and it is always like this at the week-end. Since doors also are not isolated, you hear all noises in corridor. Double bed is very narrow, so if you want to sleep two persons, it is not comfortable. Breakfast, wich they call “continental” is basically cup of coffee and small glass of orange juice( not even natural), cheap croissant and toasts from the cheapest bread, even here they try to spare, though if costs cents. The only positive I can find is that it is located in first line of the beach, but what attracts unsupportable noisy crowd on the weekends.

A welcome bit of shade on a hot day.
I popped in for a coffee, but changed my mind for two refreshing cervezas (6 euros).
3 euros for a medium and 5 for large. Although, beware that the UK's large is a medium here 🍻
A very nice interior with music playing if you are unable to get a seat outside.

We've always loved the exterior architecture of this hotel and during our week stay in Sitges at another hotel, we would enjoy a pre-dinner drink outside on most evenings. We had commented how nice it would be to stay here one day. Following an incident on the way to the airport at the end of a wonderful week staying in another hotel we were forced to stay an additional night and managed to book one of the last remaining rooms at Celimar.
Our room was small, but clean and comfy. Adequate for a few nights stay (maybe not for a week). Great service from the staff, good selection of cocktails and while we didn't eat there, the small plate dishes we saw being served looked delicious.
The location is perfect for people watching on the promenade and there are many restaurants close by. We would definitely return.

The hotel location is absolutely perfect - directly across from the beach and very close to the main commercial streets. From the sea view rooms you also have a view of the Iglesia de San Bartolomé y Santa Tecla. The windows were insulated so that outside noise wasn't a problem. The interior walls were not as insulated so we did hear people in adjoining rooms.

They have 24 reception which was very helpful for my family and I as we had an early flight and needed help with our luggage at 2:00AM. Breakfast of coffee, toast, fresh fruit juice and croissant was included.

The staff at the hotel was excellent and always made a point to greet my family and I. The cleaner staff was also helpful and the rooms were cleaned daily.

There are pros and cons regarding Hotel Celimar: Best is its location, direct at the beach front - with easy access to numerous bars, restaurants, ... However, the rooms are VERY small and poorly soundproofed (rudeless guests that returned to their rooms at night made it worse), the bathroom tray is mini-sized and lopsided. But the staff is great and to repeat: The location is unbeatable - thus, reserve a room with sea view!

I recently stayed here for a few nights. The location is amazing and the hotel has lots of character. For a 3-star hotel it has great amenities and it’s possible to have breakfast (extra cost) sitting at a table in front of the hotel. The room was on the small side but I was on my own so was not an issue - though even with my husband I don’t think it would have been too much of a problem. Overall I had a lovely time here and would stay here again.

We were supposed to stay at this hotel for 6 nights but despite our spotlessly clean rooms , it stank of old drains. The rooms, not facing the front, were dark and lacked any sunlight. The staff were friendly, and kind, but we felt we couldn't stay there, as the smell was overwhelming. This is a pity, because the location and staff were fantastic. The place needs updating

Superb architecture for this hotel in the center of Sitges with parking possible. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. You are well received. The top floor suite allows you to be in the heart of Sitges but protected from the hustle and bustle of the city with a beautiful sea view from the terrace (air conditioning, spa bath and safe). You are nostalgic for old hotels with old-fashioned charm with comfort and Spanish soul, put down your suitcases. We loved suite 401. The other rooms can't say enough about it.

I ask for a double bed, when I arrive they say yes, and they give me a 1.35 bed and a 90 bed. Own room of a cheap Inn. There's nowhere to leave your bags, you have to carry a bag. The bathroom light flashes, an obsolete toilet with lack of maintenance. Parking, an odyssey in and out, only for small cars.
Out of 10, workers’ care, the rest, needs comprehensive reform. The photographs of the hotel do not correspond with the surprise you find on arrival, the room is so small and old that it seems a joke to be on the beachfront, with a beautiful facade and an interior of 40 years ago.
