Arrived in the Sitges Royal Rooms in late February 2024 for a five day mini break with my partner.

The hotel is less than five minutes walk from the railway station, we chose to buy a 3 zone T-Familiar transport card from BCN airport railway station for £28 which gave us two return journeys from Barcelona Zone 1 to Sitges. This was a very relaxing, stress free way to travel down the coast from Barcelona and in only half an hour.

Check in consisted of a brief tour and history of the hotel, payment of the tourist tax (payable directly in cash to the hotel, mandatory in Catalonia) and being shown to our room. We had reserved the room "Carmen" (all the rooms are named after operas) which was spacious, clean and had a large private terrace for us to lounge in giving us some comfortable extra space. The bathroom and fittings were good quality and contained a large shower cubicle with lots of piping hot water available. We would have liked to have a drink in the garden bar which is closed at this time of year, the garden looked wonderful, but this is only a small gripe, there were lots of local places to drink.

Cleaning throughout the stay was impeccable.

Our hosts were true gentlemen who couldn't do enough for us to ensure we enjoyed our stay, offering advice on where to eat and places to go.

We would definitely like to stay at this hotel again when we're next in the area. It's proximity to the hustle and bustle of downtown Barcelona and Tarragona makes it an excellent base for exploring the area. Sitges itself is a wonderful seaside village with a beautiful old town, modern beachfront and many independent shops and eateries, it is in fact a food lovers paradise! Sitges is also very LGBTQ+ friendly and a great family destination with locals being tolerant and respectful to all, was great to witness. There are also a couple of clothing optional beaches if you're into the naturist lifestyle.

Finally - Sitges Royal Rooms may NOT be for you if you're used to or prefer ultra modern characterless hotels. It's an old building with history, the fixtures and fittings sympathetically reflect this and the décor and furniture add to it's charm. We like this sort of thing therefore highly recommend.

Stayed for 3 nights at end of Feb, sadly missed the carnival. Wonderful friendly welcome, and lucky to get the Aida room with a fabulous terrace. Owners could not have been more helpful recommending great places to eat as well as getting us in to the fantastic Queenz dinner show.
Breakfast was always plentiful and good. Cannot thank Elias, Victor and Bay enough, as well as all there friendly staff, for a most relaxing break. Thoroughly Recommended.

Spent two nights in Sitges on our way back to Barcelona for our flight home after two weeks in Tarragona. Stayed at Royal Rooms based largely on TA reviews. Beautiful building, well located steps from train station, shops, bars, restaurants, historical sites, beaches. Like all of the small boutique hotels in Sitges, it seems, rooms are small and nighttime street noise can come and go depending on the hour and the day. But we had a lovely private terrace in "Salome" (all of the rooms are named after operas) and found every member of the staff, and the owners who live on the property themselves, warm and welcoming and helpful in ways we will never forget.

Pension where you feel at home. Bey the owner created a very serene atmosphere assisted by Elias (his master and right-hand man) and his whole team. The garden, the charm of this Indian mansion, the jacuzzi on the roof, the kindness of the staff, the comfort of the rooms and suites, the decoration spotted by Elias and Victor will make a pleasant stay in the heart of Sitges. Breakfast in the garden is a pleasure and the Inn restaurant will introduce you to Lebanese cuisine. You love the authentic Royals Rooms.

If you like grand historical opulence then this if for you. The atmosphere is quirky and welcoming and the rooms whisk you back in time. The rooms are named after operas and we had Aida which has a very generous terrace, which was a huge bonus.
The owners and staff are very welcoming and breakfast in the garden was simple and freshly prepared.
The location in the heart of the old town is perfect.

This is a very special boutique hotel, situated on a block of mansions that were built by adventurers who returned after making their fortunes in Cuba (at least that's what our host told us). The hotel has about 9 rooms, plus an apartment entered from the garden in the back. (The excellent breakfast is served in the garden, which also hosts a Lebanese-style restaurant during the evening). The hotel is filled with sumptuous and fanciful decor. We stayed in the apartment -- which includes a galley kitchen, a massive armoire in the bedroom, and a delightful sitting room in the front. The host and staff are lovely. Highly recommended.

This hotel deserves a 6-star review. The owner and one of the staff, Danny, were the nicest and friendliest (so was their cute dog). You can tell the owner has put a lot of efforts into maintaining the establishment. I loved the decor. Breakfast was delicious and there were various choices daily. Undoubtedly I will return when I get a chance.

We stayed for four nights at the recommendation of a friend and weren’t disappointed. Our room Aida had a lovely terrace that was perfect for whiling away the afternoon. The staff are super accommodating particularly Elias one of the owners and the dog Bey is very cute. We also booked a massage and used the spa. The gym Is small but functional. Breakfast every day was made to order and always nice, and it was easy to get room service from the bar . Really pleased we chose here rather than an air B and B. Stay here in Sitges!

Wow, wow, wow!! My partner and I went to Sitges for the first time to celebrate our engagement and my birthday. We didn’t know what to expect staying here, but WOW! What a place, what a service, what an incredible decorations of antique items and the most stunning garden restaurant to relax in with dinner and live music. We had the royal room with our own terrace and we were beyond pleased with our time here - we never wanted to leave! My birthday was taken care of beyond expectations with room service for breakfast with fresh flowers and the most amazing and personal experience by the staff. We were so well taken care of by Luli, the bartenders and the rest of the staff! A memory that will stay with us forever.

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Sitges. It's a charming place, opulently decorated, that indeed makes you feel 'royal'. The staff were more than friendly and I was offered daily help and advice during my stay. When I was leaving, one member of staff told me that she'd miss me! I miss you too!

Use the train. It is right at the airport then change at the first stop out of the airport which is Pratt de ??????? At this station change to the next rail line (only 2rail lines) and the train then goes straight to Sitges. At Sitges station walk out and there is a road cross the road and walk up the side road opposite the station (side road to your left). And in 50 meters you'll find the hotel on your right. The rail fair from the airport is 4.10 euros the cheapest and easiest way to get their. Taxi cost about 90€ so use the money you saved to buy mojito
