I paid € 12,00 per night for a single room with a sink inside. Bathrooms and showers along the corridor. Great historic building 10 minutes walking from the Cathedral, many other beds available in dorms, perfect fo my needs and budget

Stayed in a single room for six nights. The "wi-fi everywhere" worked in my room for only the first two days of my six night stay - there didn't seem to be any urgency in getting it repaired. The showers are lukewarm at best. Some of the appliances (microwaves, toaster oven) in the communal kitchen were filthy. Otherwise OK.

I stayed in a single room. The room was as basic as it gets. Kind of like a prison cell. It was cheap and fine but nothing special. The building itself was very nice. The communal areas were great. Showers and toilets were not the best. Wifi worked well.

This is our 5th camino (different ways) and have returned here for the 4th time...that says it all. We've seen improvement every time...greater variety in the Market (now selling pizzas, tortillas, etc.), vending machines, kitchen area with many microwaves and cooktops. Not into WiFi...while away, I need to disconnect. We prefer the albergue-type sleeping areas (snoring, farting at no extra...

A grand albergue to end the camino, dormitories but no bunk beds, right next to the Center. Showers and bathrooms are clean. Nice places to meet people and hang out. Supermarket downstairs easily accessible.

It has been many years since I stayed in a communal setting. Single rooms were available but having completed a very modest 40 k section of the Camino I felt I owed it to my companeros who had done the whole 800k,to enter into the spirit of the Camino and throw in my lot with the multinational peregrinos. The communal...

Stay a night in this monolithic seminary, a stone´s throw from the centre of Santiago. An amazing location, structure and full of historic Catholic atmosphere. Come here and dwell a while, and breathe, but don´t expect any hotel comforts of any description. The clientele is an eclectic mix of weary, worldly and youthful walkers trotting the Santiago Way, and the...

A good place for your last albergue on the Camino. Friendly stuff, beds and showers are ok, a Supermarket has the perfect selection. The Cathedral is only a few minutes away. Although recommended for usual travellers.

Very reasonably priced for a single room and only a short walk away from the city centre, however has the atmosphere of just wanting to make money off you. The kitchen is not at all well equipped and our rooms weren't cleaned in three days although everyone has to leave the building between 9:30-13:30 for cleaning purposes. Despite this we...

Stayed both there in a single room and dorm. Have to say, I prefer the former! But in either way, it's a great place to stay, centrally placed and for everybody on a budget. And with a single room, it's got all the advantages of a hotel - even though I prefered to have my breakfast downtown.
