We returned here after 5 years and the warm and familiar atmosphere persists unchanged. We booked late and got a tiny little room under the roof. Quite small but cosy. However we had to climb up 3 sets of stairs which we found quite an effort. So Javier and Roberto suggested that we move to another hotel nearby for a...

We had two nights at the hotel. We were given a warm, helpful welcome. Easy secure parking in a crowded town organised by the hotel. Lovely room overlooking the garden with a rooftop view. Service fantastic, highly recommended.

Almost everything about this place is just right. Don't get me wrong, we're not talking luxury here but comfortable well equipped rooms and bathrooms. The staff and management could not have been more helpful while I was there and in making arrangements before I arrived. There is a sister hotel down the road the Altair, where I have stayed a...

Not far from main center but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. A very good medium priced hotel. We were not disappointed. Lovely cafe garden (see separate review). A decent shower and comfy bed. Staff friendly and helpful.

This is truly a beautiful hotel with friendly helpful staff and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It is one of the best in value for money we have stayed anywhere. The breakfast for 6 euro is a treat and is served inside or in the garden. It is in demand so book early. It is about 30 minutes walk from the...

We spent 3 days here and it was ideal for our plans. We aimed to visit the historic centre and many of its beautiful buildings. Of course finding decent food and drink at reasonable prices were also high on our agenda. The location is perfect, only 5 min walk to cathedral. We tried only 2 restaurants. Both good, see reviews. This hotel has a beautiful garden to sit and rest and have a quiet drink. The garden has a water feature and lots of fruit trees making it a cool shady place to relax in. It's away from the hustle of the Cathedral in a quieter part of the city. We loved it and called in several times, it also...

My wife and I have stayed at Costa Vella three times in 2010, 2012, and 2016. This place gets better and better. The rooms are clean, the staff great, and the old town location is fantastic. The garden cafe is a cool spot on a hot day. You will not find any place better in Santiago.
