I've been during a weekend, leaving and turning back from the hotel to the city center, placed in a hundred meters, but silent and peaceful. In a hundred meters more, more than twenty excellent restaurants to enjoy Spanish wines and food! Thanks to the people of San Francisco hotel, will never forget these days!

Located a short block from the Cathedral and heart of Santiago de Compostela, the historic hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming. My dinner at the restaurant was a Galician treat and my server was friendly, efficient and charming. The breakfast buffet featured local foods and was delicious. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying in this lovely hotel which was, once upon a long time, a convent. Now it is beautifully restored, the rooms are lovely and comfortable, the restaurant offers delicious food and their "Torta de Santiago", a local cake, the best in all Santiago. Don't miss it!!

Our 10 day stay in June 2016 filled us with a restful peace that felt like HEAVEN! A tour of the Hotel, cathedral, museum, gardens and other facilities was a must to start our delightful experience. Excellent breakfasts can be had in a very nice setting and dinners enjoying the "convent" menu at their cozy, historic restaurant were a delight....

I stayed 3 nights after a short Camino experience in room 204. This is not a luxury hotel by any means despite the wonderful old building. The pros - great location, wonderful old building, very pleasant staff, very clean rooms. The cons - The bed in my room was one of the worst beds I have ever slept in at...

This was our first stop on our trip to Spain this summer. The hotel itself is a beautiful building. The staff was a very friendly and helpful at check-in. The location in perfect, just on the edge of town and walking distance to the cathedral. We easily walked everywhere, to plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. We also enjoyed the...

This hotel is clean, service is average and breakfast is acceptable. The location however is excellent as a base to explore Santiago. There is nothing exceptional about this hotel in a positive or negative sense. It is not particularly expensive. I should mention that it has parking which is a plus in the middle of this city.

A beautiful, boutique hotel. Luxurious well-appointed room, with spacious bathroom. Very helpful and cheerful staff. Pool and jacuzzi hot-tub. Two very good restaurants. It incorporates the cloister beside the still functioning church.
