Excellently located a minute away from the metro the place is ideally located close to the heart of the city. Very friendly staff and very clean rooms. Excellent value for money for this sort of accommodation.

Lovely little hostal, well situated in the middle of Madrid. A metro station is literally just outside the hostal. Very friendly staff, room is cosy and clean. We stayed there 3 nights and we got everything we needed. Good price, i could recommend it for a short city break.

Clean smal rooms. Towels, Soap, and Shampoo in the room and some candy. You can easily hear people out in the corridor. Payed 490SEK for 2 nights (Around 50Euro). Nice area with lot of restaurants and close to Metro.

Super location for seeing Madrid. Walked everywhere. Quiet, small hotel. Julia was most helpful with English. Hot showers. Elevator. Great breakfast nearby. Madrid is so clean and laid back yet friendly. Buildings and plazas delightful.

Paid underground parking 2 minute walk, on your doorstep is the metro, room was nice and clean and everything was great. Breakfasts are served in the café next door. Could not fault it as it is a great little place to explore Madrid from. Staff very good.

Small hostel but it felt like a good hotel. Flat screen tv and a small sink in the room. Decent size room with plenty of storage space. I had a shared toilet down the hall way, it was very clean and only shared with one other room. All other rooms have private toilets. Very clean sheets and towels. Walls are...

The convenient location bang at the Madrid Centre is the highlight of this place. Although the rooms are quite small but its pretty cosy for a couple without children. The rooms are comfortably clean and are well equipped with the bare essentials. Another aspect of this place worth mentioning is the staff who are effortlessly friendly, English speaking and helpful....

Absolutely fantastic place in central location. Reception staff was very helpful and informative. Room was little small but we didn't spend much time in it as we where out exploring the city. The hostel is clean and tidy. Tube station is close by so easily to get to the airport. Taxi from airport (at night) cost only 30 euro. Downstairs...

Excellent place. Situated in centre Madrid. Friendly helpful staff. You get you own set of keys to come and go. The most comfortable beds ever, we slept well, which is unusual. Small room, but big enough for few days. Free wifi. No kettle in room, but we asked and one appeared by magic. We took our mugs and tea and...

Staying in Malasana

Neighbourhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighbourhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
