My friend and I stayed in a twin-bedded room at the hotel for four nights in May. The hotel was small but perfectly adequate and excellent value and the staff very helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were large and very clean. The décor was quirky...More

We are delighted to know that you enjoyed our hotel and our city. We offer all those things required by visitors and we are located in the very downtown what sometimes means that there is a little bit of noise. Hope to see you both...More
This is a very down to earth hotel with comfortable rooms and a nice personal touch by the friendly staff. My room was comfortable and quite sizeable. Staff was super friendly during check-in and check-out (helping me getting a taxi). Would certainly consider staying here...More

This hotel is brilliantly located in the centre of Madrid. I checked in, left my bag and was in Paca Major within ten minutes. The Prado is a short walk away, there's plenty of places to eat and drink right outside. The room was decent,...More

We are in the very downtown of Madrid, only 300 metres away from Puerta del Sol, and this is one of our main strenghts that allows you to have everything at your fingertips. We hope to welcome you again in the future and convince you...More
We stayed here for a couple of nights in early April. The room was clean and comfortable, a little quirky with the theatric decor. A couple of stocking clad legs sticking out of the wall above the bed was different. We arrived a little early...More

Your room was themed around the musical "Chicago". All those welcome details should be something normal in hospitality industry and it is part of our daily routines. This is what make us different. Being in the very downtown of Madrid has its positive and negative...More
Loved the theatrical decor. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, it was a an easy Hotel to relax in. Location was great. The negatives were the bedroom lighting was a bit poor, but more than adequate in the bathroom.

We are pleased to know that you enjoyed our decor and hospitality. It is very important to know that you had a good stay. The lighting is part of the charm of the hotel decoration, but we will analyze that suggestion.

Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center —
side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighbourhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
