Got off on the wrong foot with this hostel as we booked a private room and then ended up all by ourselves in a 12 bed dorm after they made a mistake with the booking. Staff weren't overly friendly, wifi didn't really reach room. Location was okay. The whole place felt a little dingy. It was cheap though. Not the...

It was pretty average. Nowhere near Sol for a start (embajadores), and the room was a basic basic 12bed. I was travelling with a huge group so we all stayed in the one room which made it a bit more homely, if I was in there travelling solo I would have hated it. Area is rough. Bathroom was dirty. We...

Stayed here for a few nights and I can honestly say it was the worst hostel I have ever been in. The staff were unfriendly and not willing to help (although I can speak Spanish), the rooms were cold and the blanket inadequate. The location is ok about 20 minutes walk from the centre but even for the cheap price...

I paid a little over my (very low) budget for a single room at Sol and it was worth every penny. Breakfast was filling, good coffee was always available, and the bathrooms were absolutely impeccable--and that's usually the downside of most hostels. I had space to spread out, a full bed to sleep on, and all I had to do...

I stayed in Sol Hostel In Madrid. This is a good place for these young people like me. Fairly clean and comfortable, great location, good (cheap) price. The staff was helpful. Minus: sometimes it was too noisy. I can recommend this hostel.

This was officially the WORST experience of my life. I had everything, from dirty room (and bed) to a guy in the room that was dangerous, people bleeding out of their eyes, fights outside the hostels, the position is horrible. I would like to add that I booked the shuttle to the airport and remembered the guy at the reception...

I stayed at sol hostel for a week in March and in September I decided to book there again because its a very good and cheap option in Madrid. The staff is very helpful and kind, they offer breakfast in the morning, the rooms and common areas are kept clean and its very close to the museums.

Checking in you notice that there are no places to sit, the staff are bored and inattentive, but can offer you some cheap dreads, maybe less smoking dope and more attention to the clients would be nice. Now one guy without dreads was good. The rooms were good and spacious with comfortable beds, all Ikea brand new. The showers and...
