Fantastic location, right in the heart of Madrid. Close to most of the major tourist sites and facilities that the city has to offer. Very convenient for the metro. There was a café/bar attached to the hotel which made it very convenient to get a meal or drink. The room was fairly sound proof but because I had a room on the first floor that overlooked the street with Puerta de Sol nearby, there was constantly street noise. The Wi-Fi was a little weak in my room and I had to sit in reception to get a decent signal. Also as the hotel is based in a pedestrianised area my drop off/pick up point for my taxi was a few streets away.

Everything you need for a stay in Madrid, perfect location and great staff. Was there for 3 nights and it was perfect, the room was a good size and the bathroom completely renovated, great water pressure and hot water in a second. The location is unbeatable, great value for your money, from now on Hotel Europa will be our hotel in Madrid.

We stayed at Hotel Europa from July 22nd - 28th. We extended an additional day because we were so relaxed and weren't ready to leave on our trip to Barcelona. Always had hot water for the shower, TV worked well with our FireTV, the room was fairly soundproof, beds/pillows were comfortable, and we got excellent sleep each night. The hotel is in a perfect location for easy access to restaurants, bars trains, and shopping. We didn't try the restaurant so I can't comment on that, but everything else made this an excellent value for the price.

We spent 4 nights in Madrid. When we arrived the staff was very welcoming and helpful during the check in and also for any of our requests. We booked a room with view and indeed the view was nice. The room was a good size and the style of the room was contemporary and attractive. Also, we particularly appreciated the window renovations which block outside noise very effectively. The room was very clean and the house keeping service was very good. If we have to say about some point of improvement, the breakfast and food served at the restaurant wasn't very good and the bed is not a real king thus it is not very comfortable for two.

Fantastic hotel in the middle of everything. Puerta Sol is a great base to see all the attractions, whether by foot, metro or one of the many tours advertised within a stone's throw from the hotel. The room was lovely. Double aspect windows overlooking the square. Very clean. Fab bathroom. The staff were super friendly & helpful.
