Quaint, clean, and quiet trendy hotel right off of Gran Via. The location is in Chueca, super hip and plenty of things in walking distance (restaurants, sights, shopping, culture). I met my very handsome Spanish friend there, per his recommendation and he did not let me down with Madrid's magic all within walking distance and a pop out of the... More

Have been with my family at this marvelous hotel. We were 5 persons, it had all needed facilities, location was great, room was clean and tidy, had enough space for all of us and mostly the service was excellent, especially Joan in the reception. Will come to this hotel again.

ROOM: We stayed on the 5th floor of the hotel (in room 510 which was an end/corner room so slightly larger). We slept with the balcony doors open because although November it was warm. This resulted in quite a bit of traffic noise but this didn't actually bother either of us. If you are a light sleeper it might! LOCATION:... More

Just off the Gran Via (50 meters), it's a good central location to walk the city. A metro station and a hop-on hop-off bus stop are just around the corner. I had a room with a terrace on a high floor. The terrace was larger than expected, with a table & two chairs. My room was a good size, it... More

The hotel is perfectly located and very nice. If you are in Madrid to experience the food, culture, and nightlife, this is a perfect place to stay. It is on a busy street and there is a lot of noise late into the night if this is a concern.

Very friendly staff. Very good location. Btw, three stars is a three stars. The main problem is noise. Very noisy place not far from the Gran Via - big noisy road, especially on weekend. I couldn't sleep well. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

A very good room, good wifi, excellent service, only issues are the aircondition in the room and the loud noise of the neighborhood (you cannot sleep with open window, so the aircon should work perfectly)

The hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms are very pleasant now. The internet was working properly and the staff very friendly. The only thing I would improve is the breakfast because sometimes didn't have many fruits.

Staying in Chueca

Neighbourhood Profile
Chueca
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
