1) Great location. It is walking distance to many shopping outlets. Close to the train stations. 2) Located in a street filled with graffiti, if you love arts, you will love strolling back and forth of the hotel. 3) Great WiFi connection. I appreciate it really much especially when my prepaid SIM data by Vodafone was running low. 4) Simple...

My partner and I had a wonderful 4 night stay in one of the suite rooms (S1). The room itself was very big, as was the bathroom and the terrace was just excellent, even managed to catch some afternoon sun a few of the days we were here. Had breakfast a few days and was a good selection and all...

My dad and arrived arrived at about 11pm. The lobby area is very trendy and stylish and the check in was swift. However, on getting to our room, we found it was one that had not been refurbished. I knew there were two types (refurbished and not) so I was 100% sure I had booked a stylish new one...we were...

Excellent location, central but quiet. Smart deco with large rooms; friendly service, Cheap breakfast, € 7,50 per pop compared to € 22+ in the business district... This is a great hotel, also if you have business out in the Castellana-area. € 10 for a taxi or 30 minutes by train. I can fully reccomend this hotel both for family shopping...

Hotel looked great, Room was very good, but... (I am sad to say there is a but that could have been avoided) Front Desk service is VERY poor with the basic things. For example, we arrived early in the morning and we asked if we could get a coffee at the hotel. The Front Desk employee told us that the...

This was our second visit to the hotel. It's been refurbished since our last visit and is a little too minimalist. Our room would have benefitted from some drawers instead of metal railings. Nevertheless, it's a great location with some wonderful restaurant/bars within a ten minute walk & with prices half of those on the other side of Gran Via....

From outside you don't expect much from this hotel but everything was modern, well equipped and spacious. the check in was quick and the location is unbeatable. When I called to confirm my booking a rather unpleasant woman (vanessa) wasn't very helpful or in her best mood but i will let that go since the overall stay was excellent.

I stayed in this hotel one night when I was visiting Madrid for business. Thought the place looks fancy and clean, staff is really disappointing. Front desk people make guests feel uncomfortable or unwanted: long faces, angry looks and short answers to questions or request. Not really "welcoming" place to stay and it is not really cheap.

Staying in Malasana

Neighbourhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighbourhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
