Not possible to get a coffee in the lobby in the afternoon so maybe the cafeteria needs to open higher hours. Maybe good if cleaning service provides service during the afternoon (if you take a shower during the day no service until next day)

We stayed at The Pavilions for one night to get an early morning flight home. It is a small but chic upscale hotel - comfy beds and everything you need. Beautiful breakfast room/restaurant with delicious and generous breakfast. Very quiet and in a quiet residential area just a few blocks from good and fun restaurants and bars. Great stay!

I just discovered this hotel and sure i will repeat my stay for next time. It has a very good location and one of the safest in Madrid just in front of interior ministry. At only 10 min walking to Serrano.

The personal and customized service that this hotel and its staff deliver to the guess is incomparable. They are always my preference when I’m visiting Madrid Rooms, food and location more than convenient. Excelent.

Do not stay at this hotel, terrible noise and vibration fill every room, hallways and restaurant. The adjacent building is having major structural demolition causing The Pavillions to shake and rattle, the street in front has construction scaffolding, dirt and equipment. The noise starts at 08:00-18:00, there is no place for quiet in the hotel. The other buildings on the street are government security & police headquarters, instead of cafes the entire block is police guards with barriers checking vehicles. The worst part, I called the hotel before I flew to Madrid, the hotel agent said my room was ready, he mentioned nothing of the construction. Taxi fare from the airport, time wasted finding a new hotel, taxi to the new hotel, loss of 3 hours of my time and money. The Pavilions Manager offered me no help, not even a car to my new hotel. This experience has soured me to The Pavilions, usually a solid hotel chain. If you want the experience of a military compound in a war zone this hotel is for you. I suggest you ignore the low prices and stay anywhere else.
