Clean, contemporary, nice hotel. The location is perfect. The staff was excellent. They thankfully spoke English, as our Spanish is horrible. If you need a cab to the airport, they will call one for you. The bed is large, the shower has a rain head as well as a sprayer. The TV was a nice size. We had a dining table in our room as well. We will stay there again on our next trip through Madrid.
The hotel has a modern vibe to it, with a sushi restaurant as its dining option. There is breakfast served for guests there each morning and was quite well done. The hotel is clean, rooms are appropriately sized, and we were lucky enough to get a room overlooking Plaza Santa Anna. Like the other Roomate hotels they all have their own unique theme and décor. All of the staff was kind and friendly, we really love the woman who attended breakfast each morning. The plaza is situated to walk to any of the major attractions in the city, fro mthe Palace and Cathedral to the Prado in the other dierection. The area is lively all day but really comes alive from 8pm-12am, then they clean it up and do it all over again the next day.
If you looking for something fancy and luxurious, this is not the place. However, this hotel is worth the money you are paying. Its location, service, the rooms are quite decent, and if you are planning to spend most of the time exploring Madrid, this is the perfect place. Our stay at this hotel was better than we expected. Even though we arrived earlier, the staff were more than happy to accommodate us and checked us in right away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was facing the Santa Ana plaza and we were concerned it will be noisy at night. However, the windows are double glass and we weren’t bothered at all. In fact, we enjoyed the view of Santa Ana plaza. Although the room is small, it’s clean and comfortable. The location is great, walking distance to the Royal Palace, Prado Museum, Mercado de San Miguel, bars and restaurants, etc. The breakfast was very decent. It’s not overwhelmingly various, but everything they serve is tasty and enough for a great start of the morning. Very grateful to the staff from reception and the lady from the breakfast room. They were absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. …
I'm very pleased we found this hotel to stay at in Madrid for the following reasons: 1) Comfortably sized rooms and well laid out for European hotels. 2) Good breakfasts with lots of choices. 3) Excellent location in the center of Madrid - We walked everywhere - no need for cab or metro. 4) Most Important was the wonderful service from the front desk. Madrid was very crowded during the holiday season and it seemed like all the good restaurants were booked. However, they somehow found us some great places to eat and always made reservations for us. A special thanks to Carlos and Sabina. One time Carlos was having trouble getting through to a restaurant and instead of keeping us waiting he told us to go enjoy our day and he would keep calling. He later called us to let us know that he got something. I suggest you strongly consider this hotel if you are looking in Madrid!…
Dear Roomate Team, Perfect balance between elegance and comfort that allow the customers to enjoy a good time. Rooms are well decorated and very bright. Absolutely recommended for the service and experience. The hotel is clean and the team is kind and profesional Unbeatable location in Plaza Santa Ana which makes you understand Madrid's atmosphere and joyful mentality. Last but not list, I have to say that after 4 nights here, I will come back!
