I was positively surprised about this hotel. Everything was fantastic - very clean rooms, super friendly staff and great location. The only minus I would give are thin walls so you can hear the neighbor in the room next door, but it was really good!

We stayed for 3 nights. Hotel was quite modestly priced and so we booked it. Location is great if you need access to Chamartin train station, but quite far from the city centre (one can either walk for 50 minutes or take metro). We didn't take breakfast as one could eat at carrefour market 3 minutes walk from the hotel for EUR 3.50 per person (sandwich and drink). Rooms were nice, bathroom was ok. Overall nice clean 3 star hotel somewhat off the beaten track but one of the few in sub - EUR 100 per night category in Madrid.

The hotel was perfect. Room was ideal with free safe, free Wi-fi and free water in the fridge. The breakfast was €10 Per day when booking 3 days of breakfast. Never eaten so much at breakfast before. Location is close to many bars and restaurants. About 400m to the Metro. It was an ideal base for exploring the city and close to my friends apartment. Will be going back there!

This hotel is in a good location, a couple of minutes between two metro stops, Cuzco and Tetuan. The room was comfortable and quiet and I found the staff helpful. The reception is open 24 hours. I'd stay there again.

Had a wonderful for day stay here. Staff were all so welcoming and helpful. A quiet hotel outside Madrid centre but very near two Metro stations for easy travel to the Airport and city centre. VIP nearby for breakfast. A lovely pool for lounging and swimming if you can brave the cold water! Madrid is a fantastic city for a short break and the Senator Castellana is a great place to stay! Iron was not available in the room but i got it from the service counter on request.The coffee machine making facility is available in each room.
