Book this hotel at your peril. Do not believe what they put on their website or what Booking.com say about them. Their website does not tell the truth and they will penalise you for believing it. Do not depend on Booking .com to support you, they will always support the business they represent. There is no vehicular or disabled access,...

I was walking the Camino de Santiago. When we arrived at the hotel we were a little taken aback by its simple appearance from the street. Once past that, our stay was great. Right in the middle of tapas area, the hotel had the best tapas with a great bar tender. I'd stay here again.

We spent 2 nights at Hotel Castillo de Javier. We arrived early in the morning by train in Pamplona, and we hailed a taxi to the hotel. I gave the hotel's address and the cabbie said no! My Spanish-speaking gf asked why not, and he explained that no cars are allowed on the street. So he dropped us off about...

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Great location. Steps away from pinchos/tapas bars. Laundry facilities on main square just down the street. My wife and I would stay there again. Breakfast available for an extra charge.

Hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful. The low rating is related to the room conditions. The walls were dirty and the shower flooded. I need to say that we stayed in the middle of San Fermin's festival and the location was perfect for someone that wants to be in the center of the party... The food was good...

In the heart of the action. We were there Friday and Saturday nights, and the narrow street outside the hotel is literally packed with people wandering in and out of the many, many pintxo joints. The hotel has its own pintxo joint in the lobby, but it's not great. The room was very small, the shower tiny. No view to...

I was booked on this place by my travel agent because I wanted to be very close to San Nicolas church. It was indeed very close. I got a single room and didn't include breakfast. So in the morning I'd be out and look for a panaderia/cafe for my breakfast. After that it was just a leisurely walk to places...

Clean room and good shower, budget accommodation. WiFi wasn't working proper when we stayed there, actually had to use free WiFi from the hotel behind this one, was more stable. Good location in the old town area, lot of bars and tapas places on the same street. Be ready for the staff not being in the reception when you arrive...

I have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending this exceptionally well run small privately owned hotel. Located in the heart of the Pamplona Old Town in the party bar street of San Nicolas, all of the street facing bedrooms on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors all have balconies with impressively, not one but TWO sets of double glazed doors/windows....

We spent one night here on our camino. The location is excellent; it is on a pedestrian street in the old city. There are plenty of shops and restaurants on this street. The hotel is close to tourist sights. We had made a mistake on our reservation and the staff was extremely helpful and resolved the problem for us. We...
