We were looking for a stop over point on our way from Rome to Sicily. Cosenza and the Vescovo Rosso were our place of repose. Just three kilometers off the highway, is was clean, the service was good, the location was close walking distance to city center, and the free breakfast was a bonus.

Friendly staff, restaurant attached with delicious local cuisine. This hotel included a tasty breakfast. Overall it was a very good experience and I would stay there again. The front desk was very helpful even though we only spoke a little Italian.

Cosenza was not for any sightseeing just a stopover on our way to Matera. It doesn't offer high-end hotels so i didn't expect much and was definitely surprised by this efficient, convenient, cosy hotel. I really like its restaurant, open for both B/F and dinner. It must be a local favourite as well. Staff can speak better English than those...

Found hotel on late night trip to calabria. Staff was welcoming and helpful at all times also with safe parking on-site beneath hotel. Dinner at restaurant on the property was very good and delicious with nice house-wine. Would stay here anytime. Also walkingdistance to historical area that was eye-opening.

We stayed five nights in hotel Vescovo Rosso. The location at the outskirts of town is ideal: you can walk into the old town center in less than 15 minutes and for exploring the surroundings by car you are immediately on the road. The room had a balcony and was rather large because beside the bedroom and the bathroom, there...

Stayed here whilst cycling solo from Lancashire to Sicily in June 2014. A modern hotel which, despite it's location on a busy junction was quiet and comfortable. Very friendly and informative staff and a very good restaurant just outside the hotel. A little out of the way but a pleasant walk to the old town and back thought the city...

I stayed at this hotel for 2 night's in a triple room. Between the 1st and 2nd night the towels were not changed despite putting them on the floor to be changed. Instead they placed back on the hooks. The 3rd person was accommodated on a sofabed instead of a normal bed with a thin mattress that you could feel...
