Extremely helpful people. Francesco, the owner and his wife are very helpful. I had a car and they brought us to their families private garage and drove us to the hostel. Lots of advice for what to see in the area, where to eat etc. All in all, amazing people. Francescos mother cam in the morning and made breakfast, and...

We stayed in Salerno for 2 nights this past October. Prior to our arrival Francesco was very attentive to all my communications sent and provided me with all the information I requested to make our stay in Salerno a comfortable and exciting one. Upon arrival Francesco met us at the train station and we commenced our drive along the Amalfi...

We spent four nights at Salerno Central. A small, quaint family owned B&B, the service rivaled any I have had anywhere. Francesco and Papa Pasquale picked us up in Rome and provided transport to Salerno. The next day, they hosted us on a private tour of the Amalfi Coadt, introducing us to Limoncello and Lemon Delight. When we ventured on...

I had a wonderful six night stay at the Centro Salerno. Francesco, his mom Lena and his dad Pasquale are so kind. Francesco will help you in any possible take advantage of your Amalfi Coast holiday. He knows and will check on train schedules, ferry schedules, restaurant fare and most important where to go for the best gelato :). He...

We want to thank Francesco, Lina and his father, Pasquale , for making our 7-night stay at Salerno Centro B&B such a success : from picking us up and taking us back to the train station , driving us to the bus stop and for the packed lunch the morning of our departure the owners exceeded our expectations. What we...

Salerno Centro B&B is in an excellent location between Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the main shopping street, and Lungomare Trieste, the seaside promenade. It is located on the second floor of a 16th century former convent, but the elevator and the B&B are definitely modern. The B&B is immaculate. Our room was quite comfortable with plenty of space to store suitcases...

Francesco and his family made my Salerno experience wonderful! They are so friendly, personable, and helpful. The location of Salerno Centro is great... it is walking distance from the train station and ferry. Places like Amalfi, Positano, Pompeii, etc. were easily accessible. Francesco is also available as a driver if you prefer. Breakfast is delicious. There is homemade cake every...

The Salerno Centro came highly recommended to us by relatives who stayed here last year and couldn't say enough positive things, and after our recent 5 night stay, we are in full agreement with them! There is a very good reason this b&b is consistently rated #1 in Salerno year after year! I cannot imagine a place more accommodating, comfortable,...

If you are struggling with Italian but want to see the Amalfi coast, you can do no better than Salerno Centro. The reason is the personal care from Francesco. He and his new wife met us at the train station which was a real help since we were not familiar with Salerno and arrived late in the afternoon from Lake...

It was like visiting a best friend's place instead of a B&B business. The family was always there to help but never intrusive. Directions to places of interest were set out on a map and timetables were on tap. Coffee or a cold drink were offered on arrival. Breakfast was served with care and attention to the guests' needs. The...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Salerno Centro" Bed and Breakfast is housed in a former convent of 15th century. We are located in the main square of salerno, about 800 meters from Salerno train station: a simple and pleasant 10-minute walk along the pedestrianized Corso vittorio emanuele, the most important shopping area of Salerno. You can choose between three very comfortable rooms with private or en-suite bathroom with free wi-fi connection and air conditioning. The free wi-fi connection is also provided in the wide common spaces. A limited made-to-order breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace which you relax yourself after the trips around Salerno. The intercity buses and the ferries to Amalfi, Positano and Capri are all 10 minutes away. There are many cafes, bars, restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity, and the local bus lines are just a few steps away. Salerno deserves a full day or more just by itself, and can be used as a citybase for daytrips to the Amalfi coast, Cilento coast, Capri, Paestum, the Royal Palace of Caserta, Pompei, Ercolanum and Naples itself."Salerno centro" will be your home away from home. ... more   less
