Villa Elisa Casa Vacanze is a typical Italian home located right on Piazza Sant' Antonino. Walkable from the train station, ferry port. Shops and restaurants are right outside. We stayed in the 1st floor apt looking out to the Piazza. The apt is cleaned and comfortable. It's fun watching all the activities. It could be a little loud in the...

Visited here for three nights in May. Was met by Mario who was very helpful and courteous, the apartment was beautiful typically Italian and spotlessly clean. The outside space and roof terrace was really nice perfect for a glass of wine. Unfortunately we didn't use it as much as we would have liked due to the weather. Clean towels are...

Charming self contained apartments in old building in centre of Sorrento with central courtyard\garden for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Within easy walking distance to all forms of public transport and eateries. Hosts are very hospitable, helpful and obliging. Will definitely be staying again.

I can't say enough about how kind Mario, Antonio, and Pina were to us. They made us feel like part of the family. Very kind and very welcoming, they made a great experience even better! And Sorrento is a beautiful place!!

The Villa Elisa is set on Piazza St. Antonino and is in centre of Sorrento. We visitef for three weeks in order to see the processions at Easter and the flat we had at the Elisa provided one of the best vantage points to appreciate and enjoy, particularly the torchlight procession which stopped in the Piazza at abou 4.00am in...

This wasn't really a holiday to a hotel. Or like being on a holiday at all. It was more like going to stay with your long lost Italian cousins. All the good Italian experiences I've ever had involved a very welcoming, laid back approach to the situation, which immediately makes you feel like a family member. It's great. This was...

We were warmly welcomed on arrival. The apartment was lovely, clean and well equipped. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Antonio for your help with our train transfer from Naples to Rome. You went the extra mile. An ideal location, central and accessible. We enjoyed a lovely few days here.

I have stayed at Villa Elisa many times. It is perfect for me! I can walk everywhere because it is located near the center of Sorrento. My room was lovely and very clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. The owners, the Iaccarino family, are lovely people. They make you feel at home. Villa Elisa is very safe as...

I have stayed in Villa Elisa a number of times for months. The upper apartment and the studios are beautifully furnished. Charming beautiful courtyard garden and private terrace up over looking the Piazza. Antonio and his family are welcoming and helpful. I was there at Christmas and felt like family. We have been coming to Villa Elisa for about 5 years now and always stay in "DAHLIA". Sitting outside the apartment and having lunch or a beer and a glass of wine is contentment in its self. This is truly a wonderful place, how did we ever stumble across it. Antonio, (The Mayor of Sorrento) is one of Italy`s characters...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located in the most beautiful square of Sorrento are some attractive Mediterranean-style studio apartments (each with its own combined living and kitchen area), giving onto a pretty private courtyard which is full of flowers and plants from early spring until the late autumn. Private transport is not necessary due to the close proximity of the apartments to bus, train and ferry services. In this way, the island of Capri, the city of Naples, the ancient Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum as well as the stunning Amalfi Coast are all easily accessible. The apartments enjoy a superb central location in the very heart of Sorrento. In just a few steps you can reach the little lanes of the old town with charming shops and cafés; the cloister of St. Francis with its concerts and exhibitions; excellent seafood restaurants and a small beach and bathing area. The lively main square of the town with its beautiful atmosphere is very close by. Alternatively, within an easy ten minute walk you can find yourself in the quaint fishing village of Marina Grande. ... more   less
